After going over almost 500 responses to my Patreon/Subscribestar feedback poll a few weeks ago (thanks so much for that!) I have come to the conclusion:
...we got several interests/groups in here.
A lot of you had great suggestions and feedback on what you like and dislike in the story.
...and some of the questions were so evenly split I don't really have much to work with, haha.
Some want more sex and less story, others want less sex and more story.
Some want straight couples, others want gay/bi pairings (or both).
Story's too realistic, story's not realistic enough...
I think I opened pandora's box with this, but not in a bad way though, because getting feedback from you is great! (and nothing wrong with what YOU like to read)
I can't promise I can add all of your suggestions into new stories, but have definitely taken it into consideration for new comics I am starting!
So here's the catch.
There's definitely a lot of support for continuing Mornings, so will firstly say:
Yes, Mornings will continue! (not sure if name will change)
This chapter has a bit of a closure feel to it, but definitely not the end of the story. I've had many ideas for what could come after, but was avoiding adding some of them while trying to wrap up the week story. It's very easy to expand too big and run out of time/room to cover everything you start. But thanks to all of you, I feel confident bringing in new ideas that I think you'll like!
I am also starting a new comic called Room Mates, and this one will be in color! This story will be ...different, but I think in a good way and hope you enjoy, starring a new character!
You will need to be patient with me as I adjust to running multiple comics at once. Coloring is not my strong point (as you may have gathered) so my confidence in color theory and shading is low. I'm going to try and match the new comic in color to speed of weekly mornings pages, but may stumble a bit while adjusting. I may also be working through a few coloring styles as I go along, trying to find something that feels right to me, and hopefully pick up speed releasing pages soon!
So hopefully this answers a few of the questions asked and feel free to ask more and will try and answer them when I can!
