When Simon was six, his dad went out for cigarettes and never came back. Luckily, in the years that followed Tanner's parents always seemed to have an extra seat at the table, or room for one more on the trip to the water park.
Definitely an older piece, and if I'm honest not one I'm totally happy with. However, I always liked the idea, and fully redrawing one of these sketches years later seems like a bridge too far for this little project.
Over the years I've done a lot of art that's never been shown publicly, or at all. This piece from way back in 2020 is part of an effort to get some that backlog where people can see it!
