One year later, and Conner's new path had begun at Central City. Conner was in the streets on his way to the Central World News building. He takes a deep breath before heading inside. As he heads to the workplace, he notices how busy the place really is while looking for the boss, Rene Rooker. Rene bumps into Conner, apologized for not seeing him beforehand, and noticed that he was the one to call for. Rene was happy to see Conner, as he tasked him with writing something for him before taking on the job as a journalist. The two enter the office to review the work, and within five minutes Rene was very impressed, which made Conner quite happy. Rene then says he knew he would be capable of writing a story that keeps him invested as he starts.
