Ashley, The Wolf.
Original Timeline
Ashley, also known as Ash, is a fifteen year old female wolf living in the rural town of Shadewell, located in southern Pennsylvania. She attends Shadewell high and is friends with Emma and Lily.
Ashley is a slim, slightly tall, wolf with dark grey fur and lighter silver marking along her face, chest, and tail tip. She has long, layered, hair that reaches down to her shoulders with frayed bangs covering her forehead. Her eyes are a deep blue, often attentive and focused. She stands straight, with her hands relaxed and calm, giving off a friendly and put together vibe.
She dresses modestly, wearing clothes that fit well and don’t stand out. Favoring flannels, hoodies, jeans, in the winter time, and tank tops, t-shirts, and shorts in the summer time. She often carries a messenger bag with her when shes attending school, preferring to keep her belongings on her instead of in a locker. A friendship bracelet given to her by Emma stays tied on her wrist, even though its a little faded.
Ashley doesn’t have too many friends outside of her small circle. She has an older brother who’s two years older then her, while they get along their relationship has grown distant and awkward since they entered their teenage years. Ashley’s parents are present in her life but they often spend more time at work then at home, Ashley understands that they try their best but she still wishes they were emotionally available.
She doesn’t connect well with kids in her neighborhood or most of her classmates, her friendships often fall apart because she finds herself wanting more emotional depth from her friends then what they are willing or able to give. That said, things are different with Emma and Lily. The three of them have been inseparable for years now. They share a strong bond, Ashley knows she can find love within them whenever she needs.
Ashley is very modest and level headed, to others, she may seem indifferent or cold. Though, in reality, shes a quiet thinker who keeps thoughts to herself and prefers to act when she feels most comfortable. Shes good at solving problems and doing it efficiently, Though this has lead her to suffer from the intellectualism she has a habit of improperly employing. She is not as in touch with her emotions as her two friends and she can have bouts of extreme emotion when things get to much for her to handle. When she gets close to someone this emotional instability becomes clear as she will often lash out or shut down when not receiving the kind of connection shes seeking.
Academically, she thrives, often impressing her teachers, but she struggles socially. She has had many opportunities to participate in events or engage in socialization but anxiety holds her back, especially the fear that getting to close to people will only lead to disappointment or hurt. Because of this she isnt present in any sort of clique, or community, she only ever spends time with her two friends.
Ashley’s hobbies are often creative and quiet, primarily reading. Ashley reads a lot, ever since she was a little girl, many find it hard to pull her away from her books. She finds a comfort in books, fiction specifically the simple imaginative process that such reading inspires. She very much values her own interpretation of art and is often resistant to considering others.
