"Alright, Ly; I'll see you around!"
"Sounds good – Be safe getting home!"
Lysergia smiles, waving to his mousey friend Hunner as they leave his apartment after a fun evening. The cat had invited him over for the afternoon to have dinner, dessert, and some game time together to celebrate the mouse's birthday, but now it's time for him to head home and get some rest for work tomorrow.
The feline stretches out once his door closes, before he cleans up the empty pizza boxes and paper plates, then puts away the half-drunk soda bottles. Once everything is tidied, he sits on his sofa and relaxes, opting to browse his socials on his phone. It's been a nice day, and he's truly happy he could make his friend feel so-
Knock knock
"Eh?"
Confused, Ly stands and opens his door – And his confusion only grows as he sees Hunner standing outside, looking quite annoyed.
"What's wrong, bud?"
The mouse grumbles. "Car won't start…"
"Oh jeez…" Ly's ears lower softly. "Did you try jumping it?"
"Yeah; no luck…"
With sympathy in his voice, he responds "I'm sorry… Here, come in."
The feline steps aside, letting Hunner back into his home, and the mouse mutters something as he steps to the sofa and flops onto it. "Gah…"
Lysergia calmly heads to the kitchen and pours a glass of cold water before returning to the living room to offer it to his friend. "I presume you've called your mechanic service; any luck reaching them?"
Hunner groans, taking the water and swallowing a few gulps. "Kind of… They'll tow it to Serenity Customs, but Smoky is away for the weekend; she won't get to look at it until Monday at the soonest…"
Ly shakes his head softly. "That really sucks… And on your birthday, too…"
The mouse nods in resignation. "It's always something or another."
"Yeah, it seems that way…" The cat sits down beside his rodent friend. "I kind of wish I could drive; I'd ride you home at least…"
"I appreciate the offer… Just really sucks, especially since no buses run this late…" Hunner sighs. "I could walk home, but my paws will be sore all day tomorrow…"
Lysergia thinks for a few seconds, considering the rodent's predicament, before he perks as he gets an idea. "Hey… The bus runs to your work from here too, right? Why don't you just stay the night?"
"Hm?" Looking up, the mouse tilts his head softly. "I suppose that'd work; I'd just hate to get in your way…"
"Nah, you'd be fine, really. I wouldn't offer if I wasn't sure."
"Well… Alright. If you get me a blanket, I'll sleep out here."
But the feline chuckles. "Not on the sofa – I've got somewhere cozier in mind."
"Eh? But you only have a single bed, I thought?"
He nods. "That's accurate, but only sort of relevant."
Growing ever more confused, Hunner asks "But… Then what do you mean?"
Ly giggles. "I'm just a cat; you're just a mouse… Can I make it any more obvious?"
"What?"
Ly smirks, narrowing his eyes while raising his eyebrows. "Why don't I tuck you in somewhere warm, snug, and safe? How's that sound?"
A few seconds pass as the mouse considers the feline's offer…
"I still don't think I get what you mean."
A snorted laugh escapes the cat as he rolls his eyes, deciding to just bluntly say what's on his mind. "I mean, I'll eat you and let you sleep in my belly."
Now, Hunner's eyes widen, his ears lifting in surprise. "Wha-?"
"Yeah. Shut off my metabolism so you've got a cozy place to rest while getting a full-body massage, courtesy of my stomach walls."
The mouse shivers softly, his voice filling with apparent fluster. "W-Well… I, uh…"
"Mmm?"
"Are you sure it'd be safe?"
Ly nods. "I promise. But if it would make you feel better…"
The cat stands and heads to his bedroom, returning a minute or so later with a large bottle labeled Endo Concentrate.
"This is like a super-antacid. It will basically shut down any semblance of digestion by preventing any stomach acids from emerging at all. You'd just feel the slick tummy walls kneading against you harmlessly and a bit of pooled fluids at the bottom of the chamber that'd effectively be as dangerous as a splash of water."
He adds "I've already digested dinner, so you'd have the belly all to yourself. Warm, snug squeezes to lull you to sleep with the noises of my insides surrounding you. No fears or worries; just my warmth and safety."
Ly smiles, finishing with "What do you say?"
The mouse, blushing furiously by now, doesn't speak at first; it's certainly an unorthodox offer, even if it makes some kind of sense given their respective species. But it's clear the feline means absolutely no harm to him… And he has to admit, Ly is selling the prospect of being tucked away in that tummy quite effectively…
"I uh… I'll do it."
Lysergia chuckles, giving Hunner a pat on the head and mussing his hair, earning a playfully annoyed "Squeak!" from the mouse.
"Alright then. How about you get yourself as undressed as you'd like, alright? That way, you'll have clean and dry clothes to change into when you come back out. And it'll give this a chance to settle in."
Hunner blushes deeper, but he nods, understanding the cat's point. "Yeah, you're right… Alright."
Ly looks over the directions on the bottle, then uncaps it and swallows three whole mouthfuls of the liquid within. He shudders – Evidently, it's not particularly tasty – But he huffs to catch his breath as he reseals the container before putting it away again.
Meanwhile, Hunner takes off his jacket, then his shirt, before slipping off his lower clothing except for his bright blue boxers. He then neatly folds his clothes and sets them on the back of Ly's sofa.
It's then that the feline returns, standing at his full six-foot-one beside the mouse's four-foot-two. Ly chuckles, taking in the sight of his friend like this, clearly admiring him for a few seconds, before he speaks so as not to make it too awkward. "Ready?"
The mouse, blushing warmly, nods his head. "I'm ready, Ly."
With that, the cat kneels and opens his mouth wide, revealing the inside to his friend.
Hunner's ears lower in instinctive submission as he peers at the deep indigo flesh within the feline's maw, seeing the sharp white teeth framing the cavern beyond. The tongue ripples idly, coated in a sheen of saliva, practically beckoning the mouse inside. Further in, his uvula sways back and forth, lifting and lowering with every breath he takes. The faint scent of strawberries reaches the rodent's nose with each exhale – Lysergia's natural scent.
The mouse doesn't even realize he's slowly leaning closer, his subconscious tempted by the rather enticing offer presented to him. It's only when his chin squishes against the feline's tongue that his ears perk – But he doesn't try to back away. He wants this.
Ly merely chuckles, remaining mostly steady to let Hunner enter at his own pace. He opens a bit wider and softly licks the mouse's chin and neck, sampling his flavors. Smoked cheddar, he reckons. Not bad at all – And quite fitting!
Hunner's ears fold back against his head as he leans further inside, his muzzle bumping against the cat's uvula, teetering just at the top of his throat.
Ly, in turn, gently closes his jaws, surrounding the mouse in humid warmth. His tongue grows more active, licking over the cheeks and face now, getting the rodent's fur and hair nice and slick with saliva in preparation for what's about to happen.
Both of them take a deep breath almost in sync with each other, before Lysergia presses forward and swallows deeply to pull the mouse's head into his throat in one smooth motion! An audible squish sounds out as Hunner begins to sink into the cat's esophagus, the powerful muscles gripping and pulling as he softly swallows again.
The cat works quite effectively, as though used to gulping down prey of the mouse's size. Hunner's shoulders sink inside, followed by his chest, then his belly. Steady gulps pull the prey deeper into the feline's body, and soon, the mouse feels a squish against his muzzle that spreads to let him begin sliding into the waiting stomach.
As Hunner's waist enters his mouth, Ly smirks and gives a few cheeky licks to the sensitive spots hidden by those boxers, but he doesn't linger too much. A few deep swallows work the mouse's hips down, before he begins slurping those legs into his gullet as well.
The mouse starts to curl up within the cat's belly, stretching the organ out nicely. He can only imagine what Ly's tummy must look like with the rapidly expanding bulge growing as more of him enters the stomach.
Lysergia swallows down the last of Hunner's legs, pulling his paws into his mouth. He gives them some nice licks, even working between those toes, before he takes one last gulp to send him all the way down to his belly.
Hunner hears a faint squish as his paws enter the chamber, and he can imagine the cardia sealing tightly once he's been fully deposited within the cat's stomach. Though it's too dark to see anything, the mouse feels the walls squishing and kneading against him in a gentle, almost loving massage. The stress of the evening seems to practically melt away, and his tension subsides until he feels nothing but a sense of contented peacefulness.
Surrounded by warmth, care, and the gentle purring of the cat happy to have him inside, Hunner shivers and relaxes, even as he feels Ly standing and walking again, presumably to his bedroom to get cozy as well.
This suspicion grows more credible as he feels gravity shifting when the feline lies back on the bed, before the ambient temperature rises slightly. The mouse reckons Lysergia pulled a blanket over himself while settling in, and he smiles and softly rubs the walls around him as they knead him warmly in return.
Ly chuckles as he feels this, purring deeply in delight as he pats his belly. "Comfy in there?"
Faintly, he makes out the mouse's response. "Y-Yeah… Very…"
"Good, I'm glad. You rest well in there, alright? Stay as long as you'd like."
There's a momentary pause, then Hunner asks "But… What about work in the morning?"
The feline chuckles. "That sounds like a problem for tomorrow us. Right now, just focus on getting some sleep, okay?"
"Alright… Thank you, buddy."
Barely after getting the words out, the mouse yawns and drifts off into a deep, comfortable sleep, falling still in the safety of the feline's belly.
Lysergia smiles, giving his bulging gut a few idle caresses as he lets himself gradually fade out as well.
"Sure thing, bud. Rest well, and happy birthday."
