Episode 16: Special day round up
With fall finally ending. The temperature drops, with most of the lairs having some amount of snow in them. However, the Infernites lair looks the same as always. With it's hot lava flowing, and fireballs around the place. Inside of Flain's home. Flain walks around, moving things around. Really tidying up the house. He looks over to see Fraze looking out the window. "Yo, little dude! Something bugging ya? You know your pops will fix aaaany problem you might have." "Do you think Trisiti will end up living with us dad?" Flain stood there really thinking on the thought with his smile sorta fading. "With his conditions currently man.. No.. You cant be around him to long or youll get sick little dude and in a bad way this time. I dont want that and neither does he, but im sure later on it'll be all good. Speaking of though he's suppose to be here later today when we celebrate you. Be on your best behavior Pam, Im not to worried about you though." Dad pats the side of my head as he leaves to go back to doing stuff. -Fraze wanna go outside? I never seen it snow so much this year- "well this year has been different huh." -Dad can we go outside?- "Uh.. ya but be sure to dress up warm ok? stay warm. Today is a special day for you too." Dressing up warm and using that helmet with horns dad has. When we went outside we went far enough that we could touch the snow.-Yash! so goods!" "Well well look at you to boys!" "Uncle Vulk!" -Where's Magnifo?- "A-Arent I enough?" Pam pam raises one eye brow while I snicker to myself. "He's setting up a winter magic show I think he'll need you guys in abit but I love help with making a big snowman and well I hate to admit it but im.. Short" -Heheh. Shorty!- Vulk had his hands to his hips and looked unamused. But, only for a second. He smiles and starts rolling up some snow. "C'mon now. We need to make this snowman 'spectacular~' Hehe." Fraze and Pam Pam supports Vulk, pushing the small snowball into a bigger, and bigger one. They repeat this process a few times, and stack the snowballs on top of each other. Soon enough they made an average sized snowman. They didn't resemble anyone in particular. Vulk scratches under his chin. "Hmmm... He's missing something... Ah of course!" Vulk scoops up a bit of snow and puts some right where the crotch would be. "There. Wouldn't want to forget a natural part of our bodies. Or uh some representation of it." -Yeah! Rep... Repres? Reppuu...- "Heheh. It's okay, Pam. I just mean showing that part exists. Gotta use the bathroom some way, right?" Right as he said that, a snowball gets thrown directly at where the snowman's bulge is. It knocks that part away, then the rest of the snowman crumbles down into a pile of snow. Then a cocky sounding voice yells in the distance "Oh yeah! NUTSHOT!" "Oh, hi big bro Zorch." "Zorch! Could you kindly not destroy our snowmen? We need to make one for Magnifo's show later. I was just trying to warm up the kids with a small one first, before making the really big one." Zorch dashes over to the pile of snow and kicks it. "Eh, that sounds boring. Let's do a snowball fight!" "But, Zorch! We could be late for the show." "Don't you know who you're talking to? I could make that snowman in a heart beat. But oooonly if I had my fun~" "*Sigh.* You're impossible sometimes... I'm sorry that we gotta get sidetracked like this... But, maybe we can beat Zorch if we all work together?" The both of us looked at each other’s not really convinced. “Well we’re not going to win like that cmon! Follow me!” Vulk dashes and we try our best to follow. Vulk is taller than us still. Vulk looks down at us and smiles. “Alrighty! What plan should we try?” “Us???” -but we’re..- “I didn’t stutter go on :3” I was still in disbelief but we don’t have time to wait, so putting my thoughts aside and try to adapt to the situation. “Groups are good because we can stronger fire power but. It makes us a bigger target. Let’s spilt and try a 3 mix ambush on him. The snow is deep that we could try crawling under.” “Well if we all did that it would be obvious so Pam try it.” -huh why me?- “I’m an adult so he’ll be after me first, Fraze’s hair would just melt through so you” -fine..- Pam Pam digs into some deep snow. Vulk walks out, gaining the attention of Zorch. "Gotcha now, dumb, dumb!" Zorch rapid fires snowballs at Vulk. Vulk ducks and dodges to the best of his ability. He does a decent job and dodging most of them. But Fraze pokes out and throws a single snowball at Zorch. "HA! Miss me! Look at ya. Throwing with them baby arms. Here's a real throw!" Zorch raises his arm, and Fraze just shivers in place. Just as the snowball gets tossed, Vulk jumps in Fraze's way, getting his chest hit with the snowball. "G-gaah! Zorch! Why aren't you going easy on them?" Another snowball directly hits Vulk's nuts. "Urk!" Vulk goes into the act, and lays down on his side, with a pained expression. Fraze starts to shake Vulk. "Uncle Vulk... U-Uh oh..." "It's simple, man. I knew you'd take the hit for him. Soooooo, now you're gonna take a bunch more hits!" -Nuh uh! You are!- Zorch turns around and sees Pam Pam behind him. Before he could react a snowball hits right at his dick "Y-yooww!" He falls down on his butt. -Haha! Yeah! In your dick, bro!- "Heh. Okay, okayyyy. Ya got me. I'm thoroughly satisfied. We can build your boring snowman. What's the first step, Vulk?" He walks up to Vulk, who's still laying there all defeated. "Oh Zorch... This is the end for meeeee." "...Bro wha?" "Oh the pain. Oh the horror!" "Dude it was just a snowball." "Oooooh. Only a kiss from a beautiful man can revive me." "Brooooo. Whachu mean? I'm already... Y-y'know... With someone. Go get... I dunno Magnifo to do that." Vulk immidiatly gets up and grabs onto Zorch. "You really think he would? Like in the lips? And for how long?" This got weird looks out from everyone. Vulk blushes and scraches the back of his head. "Haha, uhhhh... Don't worry I'm just messing with ya. Any excuse to make you admit you liiiike someone~" "Yeah, yeaaaaah. Let's just make your snowman or whatever..." It cuts to Vulk directing Zorch to run around in different directions in the snow. Really building up a big snowball. "Ugh. That's giving me some bad memories..." He continues to build up the snow, until it's very big. He'd have to kick the big snowball way up high to reach the higher layers of the snow. Eventually the snowman was nearly complete. Except for one specific part. Zorch ran around, building some snow, and gave the snowman a very big bulge. "Heh theeere we go. The part everyone has... And it's sooooooo big too... Heh yeah. Niiiice looong juicy di-" "Zorch. I know exactly what you're doing, and you're going to stop right now." "Teh, party pooper." As I helped work on the snowman I thought about what vulk was saying about our other uncle. Magnifo. Do you think I could make his day by tring to see if Magnifo to end up kssing him? But also though he needed us for a winter magic show too did he not? "Pam I need your help" -Of course. But uh with what ex. . .ex- "Exactly?" -ya!- "We need to get Magnifo and get him to kiss Vulk." -Ew that's gross!- "But it would make Vulk happy. for this we need to do this in secret." -sooo you want me to distract?- "No I want you to come with me" -we wouldn't have a long time before they find out we're gone.- "we better be quick then." -ya!- we begain to make our way over to the wiztatics It started to get darker. Not because it was night time. But that's just how the Wiztastics lair works. Wizwuz digs into the snow, until only his butt is visible. Then just sits there, wagging his tail. Magnifo waves his wands around, moving chunks of snow around... And also Mesmo who doesn't look bothered at all. "Ooooo boy! This is gonna be the greatest show ever! I just need to stay focus. Absolutely on point! Perfectly-" -Yo, Uncle Magnifo.- "EEEP!" Magnifo jumps up in surprise, making him stop all of his magic. The snow chunks fall to the ground, and Mesmo lands right on his nuts, with a perfect split. His eyes fully widens as he falls forward, stuck with the same expression. Magnifo looks over to the kids and sweats. "Oh! You two. Kinda got me at an awkward moment. I'm still getting ready for my biggest show yet!" "W-well... Um... Uncle Vulk needs your help." "Really? Help from little ol' me? Gosh he really has grown." -Yeah, yeah. But we gotta be quick about it. You gotta... Uh, check his maw for something, yeah!- Magnifo closes his eyes and scratches his crotch. "Hmm... His maw? He might have a toothache or something. But nothing that a bit of magic can't fix! Stay there, Mesmo! I'll be back real soon." Mesmo was still on the ground, twitching in pain. Magnifo runs past the kids, but then sees Vulk right in front of him. "Oh! Well how convenient!" Vulk blushes a little, with Magnifo being so close to him. But he comes back to his senses by shaking his head. "Mags! Have you seen Fraze, or Pam Pam? I was trying to build a snowman for your show, and then Zorch came, and then next thing I knew-" "Oh, they're over there." Magnifo simply points over to the kids. They wave back, while standing next to a still twitching Mesmo. "Uh Mags. Why does Mesmo look like he's dying?" "Oh, Vulk! I need you to open your maw!" "M-m-my what!?" "Ya! Cuz you gotta toothache that needs to be cured!" A wide range of thoughts rushed in Vulk's mind. But the thought of opening his maw for Magnifo was the strongest out of the others. Even though he was quite confused of the situation. He slowly opens his maw wide. Magnifo looks at Vulk's teeth without a second thought. "Hmm... Seems normal to me. Must've been a false alarm." "D-do you like?" "Hmm? Like what? It's just your maw." Vulk closes his maw and looks utterly offended. "J-JUST my maw!? Aww..." Vulk turns away, looking a bit sad. But Maginfo looked at him, even more confused. "W-what? What did I say?" "D-don't worry about it. Just me with silly thoughts..." Magnifo holds onto Vulk's hand with both claws. "Vulk... You know if there's anything wrong we can talk about it, right? You can trust me." Vulk looks down to the ground and quietly nods. "I-I know... But it really is silly, and we should focus on getting ready for your show anyway. But... Maybe we'll talk about it later." "Heh. Okay, hun." Magnifo kisses Vulk's cheek. Vulk freezes in place and blushes real hard. Then he falls on his back, onto the snow. "U-uh, Vulk? Well uh... We still have a long day, guys! Thanks for your help, kids! We can take it from here... Uh maybe?" "Check his maw?? We needed them to kiss ughh we messed up." -Don't be so dramtic its all under my plan I got this all under control I just like a little bit of chaos.- "Sure you got it under-" -Hush!- Pam puts his claw up to my lips then looks down at mesmo. -We'll help you with your show as extras. But can you help us? For some reason my brother wants Magnifo and Vulk to kiss so like.. Could you help with that?- "Ya so that he can shut up about dreaming about it.." -There.- I look over to Pam Pam stunned. "P-am.." -Ya I know what your going to say. Im so awesome and ya took you long enough. heh- "Heh." Mesmo getting off his back and standing up runs over to grab Magnifo's arm as we began to help Vulk get off the ground "Mesmo. W-What's the dea-?" "The kids said they would help us with our show." "Oh that Fantastic!" "Fantastic.." Mesmo repeats in a mono tone. "Uncle Vulk get up a show needs a audience and your just perfect for that." "I am?" -Well your the only only one here so like you kinda ha- "Shussssh bruh." -Whatever ya yer special.- "Oh gosh.. It's been awhile since been to these shows.. I haven't had a reason before then.." Running back over to Mesmo he winks at us then looks back to Magnifo who I think was talking to himself. "Gentle man and gentle man get rady for the most Spectular show ever!. .. I got this I got this" "So what's the plan Pam?" -Well all we got to do is during the show he have to get the two to kiss. Let's make a mess that get the two to get ontop of each other and maybe it'll be romantic enough they take it further.- "I feel like we could just tell Maginfo we want them to kiss already. it'd be so much easier." -Fraze! Chaos is my middle name.- "I thought it was Rai-" -We're wasting time! let's go!- The kids scurry up to the stage. With Mesmo and Wizwuz following up. Magnifo does a dramatic pose, with confetti popping out of his wand. "Haha, yes! And that's only the beginning! With so many helpers, this'll be even greater than I imagine! Now it's time for... The Giant Snowman!" Vulk claps and cheers, dispite being the only one to watch. "Yeaaah! I helped with that!" "Yes, indeed! Thanks, hun. Hehe~" Magnifo uses his magic to move the snowman up to the stage. "Now then. This is quite the big snowman, aren't they? But what if they were even bigger?" "Bigger..." Mesmo and Wizwuz repeats. Magnifo stands in front of the snowman and waves his wands. "Abra... Cowakaa... DOODLE!" A purple magical aura surrounds the snowman, then becomes at least two times bigger. "Heh. Impressive, isn't it? What's even better is they're pretty much indestructible! With uh... Maybe one weakness. But the trick is to find that weakness! Fraze? Pam Pam? Would you care to demonstrate?" They both walk up in front of the snowman. and sees how they tower over the both of them. Magnifo turns around and continues to entertain the audience. Mesmo gets close beside the kids and speaks in a hushed tone. "Okay. What's supposed to happen is you hit that snowman, showing how tough they are. And then hit the weakness at the bulge. Magnifo excepts this to take a bit so- -Okay! Hit the dick!- Pam Pam shoots flame from his claws, right at the bulge. That part starts to flash. "Welp..." Mesmo raises his wings and makes a small force field for him and the kids. "Okay, my daring audience! Let's see how they fair against... U-uh..." Magnifo turns around to the the bulge of the snowman flashing even faster. Then that part explodes, shooting snow all over the place, and the force pushing Magnifo back. He falls right on top of Vulk, both of them covered in snow. "Oof! Sorry, Vulk. They defeated the snowman earlier than expected and... A-and..." Magnifo looks down and sees how close and on top of Vulk he is. "G-goshh..." "Haha! It's okay, Mags. Rarely anything goes as plan these days." "Heh, yeah... Reminds me of something else." "Oh? What's that?" Magnifo pulls Vulk up to his feet. He looks into his eyes. "Like how us being together wasn't planned." "Y-y-yeah. I suppose not... To think we really didn't like each other, haha." "Weeell there are still things that tick each other off, heh." "heheh Yeah. That's never going away... But at the same time... I never could imagine not having you around..." There was a small bit of silence. Before Magnifo goes in for a kiss on the lips. Vulk looked really surprised for a second, but then relaxes and goes into the kiss. Mesmo puts down the shield and looks down at what's going on. "Welp, that works too." -Oh yaaay... Bleh. Why do adults like kissing so much?- "It's something you'll understand when you're older." The two stop kissing. And look at each other for a bit longer. "Magnifo... I" "WOO HOOO! ALRIGHT! Did you see that, Mesmo!? It finally happened! WOOOO!" "Ye. Congrats." Vulk just smiles and lets Magnifo have his moment. Also Wizwuz pops out of the snow, and still looks happy with a waging tail. "Oh right! Mesmo! Wizwuz! Look! The snowman's still standing!" The snowman with the bulge blasted off, stands for only a second longer. Until they fall down into a big pile of snow. "Ah... Never mind. Guess that's one way to do a show, huh? Hahaha!" Mesmo turns to us and forms what i think was a smile it’s hard to tell since his expression mostly always stays the same. I think Mesmo just doesn’t know how to smile “You kids aren’t bad. If you want you could join us as being a magician apprentice.” “We been wanting to do that for long time it’s just dad doesn’t want us too.” “Y-ya.. that’s right. I saw potential in you from the day I got to babysit you for the first time.” -Babysit? We aren’t babies.- “oh right hehe I meant take care of for abit.” My smile grew and grew but as I thought about it more and more it began to fade. “Even still tho we don’t have magic like you guys. We’d just feel out of place.” The Magnifo and Vulk gasp even Mesmo and Wizwuz were shocked. as they made their way over to us both and hugged. “That’s not true at all I don’t know a mixel that has the power to make a magic spirit mixel not even Zammie can do that. I honestly think you two have Wiztastic blood in you.” “Mags is right. I don’t really know how you were able to do that Fraze but it still happened non the less. You two are something else and I love you both like family. Non of that negative nonsense it makes me sad to see you hurt, do you want that? “No uncle Vulk” -No uncle Vulk- we both say in unison. “Good” “we’re far away from home tho we should go before dad gets worried.” -ya i guess but can we check up on uncle Lunk and see if he’s ok?” “I’m coming with you kids this time. It’s not safe to be wandering on your own.” Mesmo chimes in “especially with the current situation with the spilt.” Tilting my head “spilt? What spilt?” “Oh it’s nothing silly old Mesmo at his shangins again.” “Wha? I’m not joki- ayeeee!” Before Mesmo could finish Magnifo swift kicks his groin. “I’ll join your party to so that a handful isn’t left on just Vulk.” “Handful? I took care of these kids well before you and I did perfectly fine on my own.” “Well you don’t have to do it alone anymore hun.” “G-gosh ~\\\~ uhh let’s just go already.” while we made our way over to the frosticons icy lair it looked like we saw Flurr buried deep in snow with only his back end and feet were sticking out with his voice muffled in the snow. I and Pam desperately try to pull him out with his legs with Vulks and Magnifo joining in. Pop! “Ohhhh thank you guys so much! You save me even on your special day non the less.” “What were you doing in the snow?” “Well Vulk y-you see I kinda pis- ughh I mean made Slumbo upset and when I flew away he shot me down.” “He was going to leave you here?” Magnifo adds. “Oh noo LOL he needs me~” "Gosh... Still that's a little concerning. What about Lunk? Is he around?" "Oh yeah. He's at that hotel Slippery works at... Or more like owns I suppose, lol." "Ah. We'll take you there then... Um Can you lead the way?" "Suuuure thing!" Flurr shakes off the rest of the snow on him, and flies in front of the group. They soon reach the entrance of the hotel, and stand on top of the welcome matt. "Ah I've been expec- W-wait..." Slippery starts to sweat at the sight of Vulk. "Ah! S-sir! I haven't disrespected any of your cooking rules. I swear!" "... Wha? Relax, Slippery. I'm not cooking anything at the moment. You can be at ease... For now." "*gulp* W-well then. It's nice to see a bunch of familiar Mixels. Like the kids, my leader, C-Chef Vulk. and..." Magnifo looks at him with stars in his eyes. "And?" "And a guy I seen at a party one time, who also has the same colours as a rude gremlin." Magnifo slouches down and looks unamused. "Oh... Wait a sec! Are you talking about Zammie? Cuz gosh is that accurate haha... Uh, don't tell him I said that, heheh..." "Oh don't worry. I keep a lot of secrets~ Hmm speaking of secrets... Flurr. Are you and Slumbo alright?" "Aye? What makes ya ask that? We're as fine as a fiddle~" "Well, considering the yelling I heard earlier. It makes me think otherwise..." Flurr sweats a bit, and keeps putting on a smile. "Aww, it's just... W-well it's Fraze and Pam Pam's special day today! So we should focus on them. And I'm sure Flain would want his... Err Best friend! To make sure his kids have a good day!" Even with Slippery's eyes closed. His stare on Flurr was sharp. "I see... Nothing wrong with wanting to help others... But maybe there's someone who deeply cares for you that's closer than you think. Then maybe you wouldn't have to work so hard to win the heart of someone who's heart is already taken." "Uh uh, right. These guys are looking for Lunk by the way~ So show them to his room or something, yeaaah!" The heart whose taking? Who is he referring to? Maybe Vulk scared him enough to where he doesn’t want to talk money or something? As he roller skated his way outside as we followed him eventually finding Lunk who sat alone. “Uncle Lunk?” I sat right next to him rubbing the side of my face on his stomach. Lunk wipes his face and tries to put a smile. “Hiiiiiii.. sniff Fraze…” “what happened?” “Justttttt a been reflecting earlier. Don’tttt worry.” Vulk sits down next to Lunk “wanna talk about it buddy?” “Welllll tbh… I’m nottt the fastesttt butt being stuck in the middddle and slow tooo react makes it hard tooo help. But everyoneee needs me tho. Things woulddd be so much better if I wasn’t here.. Or slow.” “Nonsense! G-gosh… You do so much even with your conditions you do so much and that means so much! There’s nothing we can do to change how you are but we are thankful for what you can do.” “Yay uncle I’m thankful for you being there for me always. Magnifo breaking the awkward silence. "Now that we know Lunk's okay. We could head on back home now." "U-um... Uncle Magnifo? Can we go to the Electroids?" "Oh? Worried about them too? I guess if we all go it shouldn't be too much of a problem. What do you think, Vulk?" "I don't mind at all. It means I get to spend time with you... A-and the kids! Yes. Taking care of kids is what I doooo Heheh." Magnifo pulls Vulk in for a hug, and they both laugh a bit. Flurr watches those two hug. And for just a second looked really sad. But he bounces back to looking happy. "You guys have a fun time then! I'll uh... Look for Slumbo..." He flies off. Then Lunk looks over to the group. "Ooooo. I wanna come withhhh. Just to speeend more time with the kids, hee heee." -Hell yeah!- Vulk looks down at Pam with his hands on his hips and a disappointed expression. "Ahem! Language!" -Uhh right. Y-yeah. But with him around it would make getting around take a bit longer though...- "Never fear! For I have a trick under my metaphorically speaking sleave! I'll just carry him with my magic. Iiiiif I have the approval of the red boy." "Heh. Don't worry, Uncle Magic. The red boy allows use of magic this time." "Eeeeee~" Magnifo waves his wand and carries Lunk within his magic. "Weeeeeee." And don't forget old!" Slippery chuckles and skates away. The rest of the group makes there way over to the Electroids lair. As we made our way over to the electriods tower the first knock was enough to make Teslo know that it was us somehow. with Teslo right there to let us in"Welcome in! Special boys did you come to see the the progress for the toxitristies?" "No.. I wanted to check up on Volectro." "Huh? Why?" "I notice a few times he's been blue and I wanted to see if I can help." I made my way upstairs full of energy not bother at all with how much stair I had to climb to find him. knock knock knock. The door opens with Volectro opening the door with the saddest look. "Oh.. That's not important. tbh I noticed that you been pretty sad and Shuff is never around. did you stop being in love like daddy?" "N-no gosh no not like that. Just we had different thoughts on something sorta.. no more like a chose my tribe over my lover and it's honestly a big mistake." "Why?" "Because of my choice my lover is never around. It's grown up stuff. You wouldn't understand." "But I do understand. With us being mostly unwanted or unwelcomed its hard to enjoy things. So we really appersiate the ones that do spend time with us because the little moments matter and we can take all that we can get." "Haha Im being lectiured by a 7 year old." Volectro looks around in his room and pulls out two ice chunks just sitting around. "We usually keep a personal Ice chunk for each Mixel. But I have two because I zaaaap usually have someone else with me... All of the time... sigh. But, for this moment you can use his. Just hang on tight." Volectro puts the chunk down and Fraze got on top of it. Volectro rubs his hands together and sends lightning into the ice. It starts to hover in the air. "W-wow! This is really cool!" "Heheh. Yeah.
