Episode 12: Splitting Decisions
In the Infernites lair, right outside of Flain's house. Stood Magnifo, Vulk, and Lunk. Side by side in a line. In front of them is Flain, walking back and forth with is claws behind his back. "Alright, dudes. This is serious business. This is something only the three of ya could ever handle." Magnifo excitedly raises his claw. "Oooh, oooh! Does it involve Nixles? I know I could treat them to a magic show to DIE for! Haha... G-get it cuz uh... Dying?" Vulk looked unamused, with a hand on his hip. "Well, at least you tired. But, I'm sure this'll have something to do with cooking. Which, to be honest, I could totally do myself. But, having an extra pair of claws to carry the dishes can be nice." "H-hey! My spectacular claws are more than just dish carriers!" Lunk walks up with a dopey grin. "Oooor. It's a biiiig group hug!" Lunk opens his arms, expecting a hug. Everyone just looks at him for a bit, while Lunk looks back with an oblivious look. "Oh? Maybe later?" Flain looks at the three Mixles and sighs. "Maybe if y'all chillax for a sec. You'll see what's up... But, it's really just keeping an eye on the little dudes while I'm out doing stuff." "Oh?" Vulk responds. "I could tag along and help with whatever-" "N-nah dude! That's cool. You reeeeally should stay here with the kids. And with Magnifo and Lunk helping too." Vulk looked a little confused for a bit. But he just shrugs. "Sure, if you insist." Magnifo does a little salute. "You can count on me, buddy... Last one there is a rotten cubit!" Magnifo dashes to the door, with Vulk quickly following. "Magnifo! Cubits don't rot you... Ugh, never mind. I'm getting there first!" Lunk slowly walks to the door, but Flain taps on Lunk. "Hey, Lunk? Make sure those two aren't at each other's dicks the whole time, yeah?" "Okaaaaay~" Flain watches Lunk enter his house. He then turns around, and walks in the other direction. Pam Pam was watching tv as I was sitting next to him drawing a mixel I kept seeing in my dreams. But it was extremely vague Because its hard to picture out something that happened during a dream. To make matters worse your body tries to forget about the dream once you began to- -Yo Frazzze finally got your attention. You been having one of those deep thought things again?- "Ya. Alot has happened to us this year and things from back then seem to show itself so I can't help and wonder all that we missed." -SO TRUE. But dad keeps things from us on purpose though I wonder why.- "To protect you." a voice calls out from behind us as Vulk makes his way onto the couch sitting right between us. He puts his arms around us both as he watched tv with us. "Yknow for a small guy you're quittte fast." "Well ya that's what happens when you let Zorch be your coach. You owe me a soda." "Mannnn my big maw and me shucks." Magnifo and Lunk both make their way onto the couch taking it easy as they sat there. It sure felt quite cozy with all these other mixels here. But Magnifo started to grow bored from the tv I think he likes certain ways to be e- eneter- ene, uhh that one word. He began to scan around the house until he saw my drawing. "Huh whose that I haven't seen that mixel before." "Oh? Herrrrr? Thattt's." Before Lunk could finsh Vulk shook his head no stopping the conversation real quick. But that interruption only made Magnifo look even more interested. "Oooooh? Is it a secret? I'm great at keeping secrets! Like no one knows about Mesmo's petplay fetish... Uh... Until I just said it... J-just pretend you heard nothing, haha!" Vulk looks at Magnifo with a much more serious expression. "Just... Drop it..." A bit of awkward silence filled the air. Magnifo thought to himself for a bit. And right when he got something, he hopped right in front of the tv and brings out his wands. "I bet a maaagic show would be far more entertaining than whatever's on tv!" Vulk rolls his eye. "Not this again..." "Oh, come on, Vulk! When was the last time I actually made a mistake? Or even fully did one of these shows? In fact it feels like I mention them more than actually doing them!" "Well maybe that's for a reason. Now could you get out the way? The kids are trying to watch tv." "B-b-but..." Magnifo whimpers and looks down to the ground. He walks back to the couch and sits in silence. Lunk, watching this was also looking sad. "Uummm... Magnifo?" "Yes, my blue and delightfully slow, friend?" "If you waaaant. I can see what you can do. I know how saaad you can get when you-" "Oh Lunk! you're a life saver! At least SOMEONE appreciates my magical ability. Nooot naming any names now... Buuuut I heard they're red. Could be aaaanyone though." Vulk was unphased, just watching the tv. Magnifo sticks out his tongue and looks back to Lunk. "Anyway, best friend. Just let me know when you're ready to see a spectacular show!" Just as Lunk was about to say something. Vulk taps on Lunk's shoulder. "Lunk. I was about to start cooking. It'd be nice to have someone help out in the kitchen." "Oh yeaaah. I'd love to help! B-but I-" "Great! See you in the kitchen then." Vulk heads to the kitchen, and Magnifo walks in the other direction. Lunk stands there in the middle. looks at both of his friends, then down at Pam Pam and Fraze. "Oh dear... I can't do both at once... But I wanna help them both though..." Both Pam and I watched the argument unfold and both felt a rush of sadness. "It would make things worse if we choose to ignore this." -For sure but what do we do exactly?- "We I say well gang let's spilt up and look for clues." -Look for clues? why would we do that?- "Bruh ahhh it's a quo quo.. ... .. It's something I heard off of tv once. We'll spilt up each of us taking a side. You'll help Vulk while I help Magnifo we shou-" -Oh nononono You don't like in heck I'm going to be in something borning like the kichen. I am not getting sidelined this time.- "Sidelined? I wasn't. Magnifo wanted me to be his side kick so I thought it would make sense for me to be-" -Ya any mixel would choose you over me anyday. Because I'm just the spirit. there's far more value to the one that's real.- "But you are real you can-" -Ynow what I mean that one word phs. phsical. ya that. You have far more value while I'm sidelined and you nab all the attention.- "That's not true daddy loves you. And we're kids I get sidelined just as much as you do heck it's even worse because everytime you get in trouble so do I. I get in trouble because because.." - Because of what? Me? Guess what. Ya he loves me but he loves you more. All of the mixels do. Even though I try my best to prove i'm not just the trouble maker and that I'm pretty capable of with trying to prove my worth or be valued no one really cares. But with you it's different. DO you know how scary it is at any point in time if you wanted to you could make me disapper?- "I promised I wouldn't do that. -It doesn't matter. It's still a thing that I have to live with and that in all cases no one cares.- "No one cares!? No one cares?! Who was the one that stuck by our side while everyone pushed you away, Who worked hard to prove to dad you were worth being apart of the family?! Who was the one that let you have free will or do the things you do to prove yourself? To let mixels give you a shot? let myself get in trouble just so you can help brother Zorch. I made a promise to you I wouldn't retract you because your not my power your not my friend, your my brother and I love you. So does Dad he works his butt off for us both more than you ever know. .. . But sometimes I want to do my own thing too." The room goes very quite from me rasisng my voice for the first time and being extremely hurt yet irrated. Both emotions I never show. Magnifo and Vulk wordlessly set their differences aside, just to be by the kids side. "G-goodness..." Vulk says, in a worried tone. "There's no need for that, alright? We wasn't trying to get you involved like that." Magnifo nervously taps his claws. "Y-yeah! You're both equally valued. Look we can just do things all together, yeah? We'll cook some stuff up, then we'll have fun with magic!" "As much as I don't like it... Yeah, we can work with that. Anything to not make them be against each other..." Magnifo grabs hold of Fraze, and Vulk holds Pam Pam. Lunk follows from behind, looking down towards the ground. "Sooooorry... I couldn't make it better...I only made it worse..." Vulk looks back with a smile. "Aww, don't be, Lunk. We were the ones being a bit silly." "Oh yes. I do have my moments. Although I feel Vulk was being mor-" Vulk stares at Magnifo with an unamused look. Magnifo sweats. "A-ahem yes! We were both not being great. You did the best you could, Lunk. Now, let's try to make this work right!" Once inside the kitchen, Vulk pulls out a few ingredients. "Okay. Let's try to make some Shockurry." (Shock Curry) "W-wait, really? I though you could only buy that stuff. You're telling me you can home cook that kind of food?" Vulk smirks, full of confidence. "You may be a magician in general, Magnifo... But I can do quite a bit of 'magic' in the kitchen. Just watch and learn!" Vulk goes straight to work. Mixing in different ingredients, left and right. Magnifo helps out by using his magic to float whatever Vulk calls for into the pot. He also uses it to move pots, pans, and other utensils around. Lunk was just cheering in the back. The kids were mostly on clean up duty. And they were the ones that taste tested the curry first before Vulk works on it more. Usually use a small spoonful being floated to Pam's maw. -Hmm needs more spice.- Vulk nods and gets back to work. Magnifo the other claw, watched in disbelief. "M-more spice? Isn't it already spicy enough?" Vulk looks behind him, toward Magnifo, then back to his food. "Hey, Magnifo. Step over here for a sec." Magnifo walks up, behind Vulk. "Yeah? I don't see how- Uurrkk!?" Vulk kicks behind him, hitting Magnifo's dick. He falls on his back, covering his crotch and whimpering. Vulk goes back to cooking like nothing happened. "The customer is always right, Mags. That's all." "Y-you could've just told me that... A-ack..." Lunk helps up Magnifo, and they both now just watch and cheer on. Until eventually... Vulk puts down the finished dish onto the table. "Mmmah~ Shockurry at it's finest. See Pam Pam? Cooking can be fun!" -Eh. The only part I found fun was eating curry before everyone else. And seeing Uncle Magnifo get kicked in the dick, heheh.- "Heheh. I don't blame you. That was my favourite part too~" Magnifo grumbles in disagreement, but they all still sat together and began eating their meal. “Pam.” -Ya?- “I’m sorry about yelling at you earlier. I just.. I really do care about you.” -Ya haha I can tell and I’m sorry I was to caught up in the bad not really noticing the good.- “I’m sorry that you felt that way Pam I will do better to treat you two the same.” “Yeppers I’m on the same page you two can both be your uncles side kicks! Gosh I can’t believe I reach that level already.” Magnifo starts to tear up and Vulk only scoffs. “Like as if Flain would ever agree to that.” “Well I do like challenges sooo I’ll make a bet on you that I can get these two boys to be my side kicks!” “Oh ya?! Your on!” “I dooo try to value you Pam I actuallyyy spend mosst if the time withhh you actually.” -I know. You’re absolutely right I was just to caught up on the bad I couldn’t see any of the good.- “times been tough on us both.” “Nooot just yoouu tooo it’s been ruff (yes I spelled it like that on purpose) on your dad and us two.” Lunk shares with Magnifo full of excitement soon to follow “Ya but it’s been better and honestly I never would have thought to be in the position I was in and also have a crush… uh on the competition” Vulk’s blush goes into a playful add. “Well in my book experience outranks everything. You still have a lot to learn about our family Mr. Uncle Magic.” Magnifo blushes and looks away. "G-gosh Uncle Magic? I can get used to that, haha." Lunk sees how the two interact with each other. He then slowly forms a wide smile on his face. "Ooooooh. I seeeeee. I've been through what yoooou two are going through noooow." Both Vulk and Magnifo look at Lunk in unison. "What?" "Ooooh, don't worry about it. If me and Zorch can work, then I'm sure you two would do fiiiine~" Vulk crosses his arms, and looks a way with a blush. "D-Don't be ridiculous." Magnifo looks the other way. Tapping his claws together, also blushing. "Y-yeah! There's no way that could... Or, y-y'know... Busy and..." "It's okaaaaay, you two! With myyyy experience. You'll have noooothing to worry about." Magnifo rapidly shakes his head. "A-aaanyway! Speaking of magic. It's time for me to finally have Fraze and Pam Pam become my sidekicks!" "Heh, we'll see." Vulk scoffs. Once they all head outside, Magnifo looks over to Vulk and has a mischievous smile. "Weeeell. Who's saying I'm doing this alone?" Magnifo pulls Vulk closer to him with a spell. "Wha? Magnifo! What are you-" "Oh, come on. I've always wanted you to join in on the magic fun." "B-but I don't have magic... That's your thing..." "Didn't you just say you have quite a bit of magic in the kitchen? I'm sure you'll figure something out." "M-Mags! That's not..." -Uhh. Aren't we supposed to be doing something?- They both look over to Pam and Fraze. "Indeed you are!" Magnifo exclaims. "There's all sorts of things sidekicks can do that doesn't necessarily involve magic. You're like the cherry on top of a spectacular treat! So, what better way to show your greatness than by learning how to juggle!" Magnifo makes a top hat appear, and pulls out three different coloured balls. Then he starts juggling them over him, and between his claws. "You see, juggling can captivate the audience's heart. It can be nice to look at if my sidekicks do that while I do other things with my magic. But, seeing that Wizwuz is on all fours, and Mesmo has wings. I've never been able to have them do such a task... But now, you two could totally add to the whole show! Especially with that unique magical feeling in the both of you. I'm sure you could add something never before seen to the show!" Vulk, still standing close to Magnifo, just shrugs. "Well that's nice and all, but why did you bring me here?" "So that I can show this!" Just then. A purple glow of magic surrounds Vulk. He is then added to Magnifo's juggling act. "W-whaa!? Magnifo? Aaaieee!" He's tossed and flipped around along with the balls Magnifo is still juggling. "Heheh! Yeah. Talk about becoming one with the show, right? It's stuff like this that'll keep the audience on the edge of their seats." "Magnifoooooo! Put. Me. DOWWWN!" "Kayooo~" Magnifo stops his spell, and catches the three balls in his claws... But then Vulk lands right on his nuts. "E-eeep..." His legs were in a perfect split. Then he falls forward, groaning in pain. Magnifo sweats a lot. "O-oh... I guess there's one pair of balls that dropped on the floor... Let's just consider that pay pack from earlier, yeah?" Vulk slowly gets up, with the help of Lunk. Vulk looks back at Magnifo with a smile. "Oh yeaaaah. No problem. Water under the bridge. Toootally okay with that~" Lunk closes his eyes and sighs. "Weeeell... It was nice knowing you, Magnifo." "W-wha? What happened to not having anything to worry about? A-ahem. Well then." Magnifo passes some coloured balls to Pam and Fraze. "Now then. It's okay if you don't succeed the first time, or even the second. Just try your best and have fun!" I look at the balls that were handed over to me feeling unsure how to do the juggle looking over to Pam. -It can't be that hard right?- As he tried his best to juggle the balls either fell onto the ground or flew the oppisiate direction making me hesitent to stand next to Pam Pam. I went onto to give it a try myself just for them all to go the a different direction once I tossed them. "I don't get it aren't they supposed to go one direction?" -How did you do that so easily Uncle?- "Well I-" "Loooots of pratice. Givee.. it. some timme and even youu. .can get the hang off it." "How dark you intruppted me! I was going to share the greastest story of a life time!" "You mean the greatest storyy you could come up with on a whime?" "Of course not my stories are 100% true." "Yaaa sure they are.." The two go back and fourth as Lunk shakes his head and laughs to himself as he made his way over to us. "Haha it looks likkeee you arenn't the only.. two that have alot to learnnn heh." Lunk goes over to gives us hugs in which we both rush over to hug. "Ohh? we're hugging now? yipee!" "We'll discuss your tails later." Vulk and Magnifo join in on the hug making it now one big bear hug. "Haha I justtt kneww I'd endd up beinggg needed for a hug."
