probably one of the best series out there, but can be a bit of a mind fuck. Basically picture a magical girl series that actually took a hard look a the genre and said "yeah....would it really be all poses, frills, and silly rainbow attacks with campy gloating villains? Hell no....those monsters would be monsters who won't give you time to pose and shout attack names, the lifestyle would probably make you lose your sanity, and that cute familiar probably isn't doing this for your sake let alone the world's. To quote nibbler, ' nothing is that cute without some ulterior motive!' "
