here on Inkbunny for this sexy and more detailed version of Diana's Green form!
It always feels wonderful to upload these, and we are nearing the end of Diana's many forms under the influences of the Crowns. But this isn't all for her, oh no. I do have more planned. So as I said before, one unifying fact of the Crowns was their hate of the Bishops who wore them, and how they tended to subvert their Crown's powers to suit the needs of their cults. The only exception to this, in my universe, is Leshy and the Green Crown of Chaos.
Leshy is confirmed as the youngest of the Bishops of the old faith. He cared nothing for schemes, for plans, for strategy... He is more or less a child, and was implied to have found his Crown on accident one day while just merrily burrowing through the earth. And the Green Crown of Chaos was all too happy to indulge a child in fulfilling any whim or fancy he had. So what effect does the Green Crown have on Diana? That's quite simple. The Red Crown signifies Death, the end of all things that must happen, a unspoken rule. But life itself is Chaos. Cells break down, multiply and refresh, the weather shifts, plants grow...
From the day we have our first heartbeat, we are alive. Chaotic. Wild. And for Diana, who had been given a second chance after her beheading, the Green Crown has her go full tilt into the joy she's alive. Every day is a celebration, a party to throw, games and tricks to play, and she's the star entertainer, trying to give folks a reason to share in that joy. One curious effect on her by the Green Crown is how her wool takes on a more plant fiber like nature, namely fresh cotton, and the very real, very edible berries that grow from it like she's a walking bush. She also smells of freshly cut lumber and fruit blossoms in this form.
Also, while she might always be grinning like the Cheshire Cat, she's really just constantly scheming her next big joke or prank to make her flock laugh, even if it's at her own expense. Oh, and her 'bell'? It is made of petrified wood, and as it rings, it sounds like a wind chime, its pitch and tone changing every single time it rings.
