Based off a sketch I started at work the other day... based off an idea I've had for literal years, somehow? It's such a nothing concept, really, but at least I had fun with it.

I feel like they/them pronouns work best for this character, although they as an individual don't have that preference-- I just can't personally bring myself to gender them. You can call them whatever you like :P

We may see this little critter again someday. Who knows??

Once a year, as the leaves turn russet and the air becomes nippy, you hear it. The toll of a little bell as Pumpkinhead traipses across the land. Broomstick in hand, this mysterious feline figure with a pumpkin for a head brings in the Halloween season. Sometimes with mischief, sometimes with jokes, always with laughs.

The locals know the legend well and newcomers and tourists are often startled. But the locals just chuckle and shrug. 'Ahh, good ol' Pumpkinhead, at it again. It's that time of the year again.'
