It's International Raccoon Appreciation Day

And here, a raccoon appreciating life itself, contemplating the contemplative life.
Raccoons are my absolute favorite species, and this drawing, kind of spontaneous, is very special for me, and I decided to do it in my favorite traditional technique: colored pencils. I haven't worked lately on this technique because it hurts the right arm which I work with, and I'm still taking care of it, but since this was a special spontaneous occation I wanted to give it a new try, especially for wishing best thoughts (in general) and being able to work on it again.

Appreciate your closest raccoon, your raccoon friends, and the raccoons on your block!
