We start the next chapter of the Cynosure City Tails with some familiar faces! What a pleasant scene too~ (That took foreverrrr to draw lol)
It may be a somewhat uneventful start, but with the daily uploads, it won't be long before things pick up!
(You'd have to be a NekoStar SUPERFAN to catch some background character references here... but I wouldn't jilt you if you miss one... let's just say we're... uncoupling~)
For any new readers, be sure to read the warning on the next page included here for what you can expect from this, and any other comics under the Cynosure City Tails title, whether they be past, present, or future! Not all comics will contian all themes, it's just an umbrella warning. This IS your warning.
Ah, okay. Having spent 26 months in Japan in the late 1970s, I wouldn't be surprised in the least to find out that they do have a Plum Blossom Festival.

Wonderful. I'll be happy to see a different blossom festival. Everyone knows about the Cherry Blossom (Sakura) Festival in the spring. A lot of people know about the Chrysanthemum Festival in the fall. But not too many people know about any other blossom festivals.
BTW, where I was stationed, city came right up to the gates to the base. So, it was easy to know when a festival was taking place. It seemed like there was another festival every two or three weeks. I learned then how much the Japanese enjoy celebrating anything and (almost) everything, cherry blossoms, chrysanthemums, children, parents, grandparents, Valentine's day, Christmas, if it could be celebrated, the Japanese celebrated it. LOL

I grew up in Louisiana and cajuns are the same lol. Celebrate for no reason. Honestly it’s a good thing though. Life’s short, may as well spend it with good times, good food and good people.

Nice lol and nah, I mean i’m aware of him but didn’t watch any of his show. I got plenty of cajun dialogue from the adults that were smoking cigars and playing bourre’ the night before they went deer hunting at the camp. Luckily as I got older I learned how to cook my favorite cajun dishes so I can make them wherever I go and treat others~

I can't do it any more due to a paralyzed vocal cord but back when I could, I fooled a lady from Lake Charles into thinking I was Cajun.
If you'd like to see and hear Justin Wilson cooking on TV and telling his stories, go to YouTube and type in Justin Wilson. He had some of the funniest stories I've ever heard and his Cajun accent only helped to make them funny.

One thing I'll always remember about Justin Wilson cooking. He'd say, "Nah, dis recipe call for two cup whaht wahn." Then, he'd take a measuring cup and a large bottle of white wine and start pouring the wine into the cup. Then, he'd dump the wine in the cup into the pot while still pouring the wine. That made me laugh so hard when he'd do that.
Something else I remember him doing was he'd say, "I need one-quarter teaspoon salt." Then, he'd pour the salt into his hand while the audience giggled. He'd say, "You dohn believe dat a quarter teaspoon?" He'd take a quarter teaspoon measuring spoon and pour the salt into the measuring spoon and it would be exactly 1/4 teaspoon every time.
