Some say that autumn begins on the 1st September here in Denmark. Some say it begins on the equinox on the 22nd September. I disagree. For me, autumn begins on the first morning that I can smell it in the air. It's sudden and unmistakable.
Summer has been long this year, stretching late into September, but nature is waiting, and I know it could snap into autumn at any moment.
Instead of mourning summer, I think it's better to embrace autumn as it comes. Wear something heavy. Heat up some cocoa. See the dark evenings as an opportunity to get cosy and cuddly with friends infront of a movie. There's so much to look forward to.
