With summer at it's end, but with the heat still at comfortable temperatures, one last visit to the beach was made by the Maiden and Painter. A picture in mind, something to capture the Maiden's radiance in the summer sun. Not a common theme to be sure with settings meant to help capture the mystery and classical nature of the Maiden. A pose struck and paint to canvas once more. Stroke after stroke, the Maiden's beauty captured in the last days of summer. Something simple, yet elegant in its own right.
Meant to have this up just before the Fall Equinox, but didn't quite make it. Still, rather pleased with how this one turned out.
You never seize to surprise me. After so many years. I am blessed to have such a devoted friend in You, and can benefit from Your incredible talent, You bestow upon me so generously.
You really have magical hands, my dear painter (and not only while painting ;* ). The scene is so warm, the curves so smooth, the shadows so polished. And the face... I just look so radiant on this one. But this radiance You depicted is less from the summer rays, and more from the fine company, that made me blossom <3
It may be very narcissistic of me, but this is now my favorite picture of Yours, Brush. And while You always were an amazing artist I could only aspire to, with each new art I still feel like You're getting even better. There's something about the proportions, pose, and especially the face, that is positively mesmerizing here. You really must love mares with all Your heart, to be able to tease out such harmonies for Your art, and that love shows X3
We need to kiss the summer goodbye now (fortunately replaced with another beautiful time of year, though for more spooky reasons), but what a spectacular send-off You fashioned! And while we are at kisses, You have a big kiss of gratitude, and honest amazement from me :***
