Taco insists that Mike go backstage with him when he realizes who the main characters of the play are: school bullies, Davar and Madison. Taco remembers that they are the reason his friend, Celeb, transferred to a different school.

As Taco and Mike walk toward the stage, Mrs. Tay instructs Taco to help Willie with his costume. Taco yells, "Why are they on stage! They can't act!" holding back tears while the audience laughs at the bullies' expense, "No put-downs, Da'Mar," Mrs. Tay responds, frustrated with Taco. Mike grabs him, urging him to let it go, and pulls him away.
