Now I'm finished with my warm-ups, I can at last get back to business. One of things I came to realize above all else during my absence, is that I'm at my most prolific when I'm drawing that which I'm actually passionate about. And, as it turns out, what I'm passionate about is dark-furred anthros, for reasons I'm sure those who knows of me can deduce on their own. And revamping Letizia and Miguel is the perfect way to begin this new direction I mean to take my art in.
I always envisioned Letizia and Miguel to be Afro-Latino, so giving them darker fur and black features is the best way to get that point across. And the ideas for them and many other characters flowed instantly the moment I finalized their designs.
I know the kind of art I want to make now, and this drawing is where it'll all begin.
