There you go, three typical dresses from my district, and three lovely ladies to go along with it! The tri-coloured cockade pinned on the Alsatian black bow was - and still is - a strong patriotic meaning for the Alsatians. Dresses can tell a lot about her owner, such as her religion and her current marital statute. Bothan could be a protestantism, since we can see the under-dress for a couple of centimeters, called 'Rock'. Marischen wears a protestantism green dress. Liesel wears the red catholic dress 'Kutt', even if the green apron points that she doesn't care much about it.
Bothan holds a pretzel, recipe originated from Alsace, while Liesel stands with a blonde beer and a choucroute garnie. At first I wanted to add a glass of wine hold by Marischen, such as a Gewurztraminer, but a beer is enough alcohol for the whole drawin =D
