Episode 05: Puppies' home explore
Back in the kitchen, the puppies were finishing their dinner.
"What do you think Master does in there?" Hershell looked up at the hidden door with curiosity in his eyes.
"I don't know, Master always enters through the secret door at certain times and comes out looking peaceful," Svara said, her voice filled with curiosity.
"Maybe he's hiding treats," Luna suggested with a wag of her tail, her eyes sparkling with mischief "or planning our next big adventure!"
Maxtone, Svara, and Hershell shared a look before they shrugged in unison.
"Could be," they said, their voices a harmony of curiosity.
They had long ago learned that trying to guess Jerony's secrets was a game that could never truly be won.
At the night, Jerony goes to the CIA office without his puppies. The puppies use the chance to explore the house. Anna, who had noticed Jerony's frequent visits to the secret room, decided it was time to investigate.
"You know, while Master is away at the CIA office and he will be home in a few hours, how about we explore the house more?" Anna suggested, her piercing eyes scanning the room, as if challenging the others to argue.
Maxtone and Svara exchanged glances before nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, it's not like we can't handle a little adventure without him," Maxtone said, his tail wagging with excitement.
"But I'm still curious about Master's hidden room," Lynna said, her voice coming from her pup-tag. "Every time he goes in there, he locks the door and we can't follow."
"I know, right?" Hershell added, his diaper now dry from their earlier escapades. "It's like he's got a secret treasure stash in there or something!"
"Let's see it, I hope the door wasn't locked," Anna said as she approached the bookshelf that concealed the hidden room.
She nosed at the books until one of them slid aside, revealing the secret panel. But unfortunately, the door was indeed locked.
"Luna, do you think you can hack the door?" Anna whispered, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
Luna, the hacker pup, wagged her tail confidently.
"Sure, I'll try," Luna said, her tail wagging as she stepped forward.
She approached the door, her sharp german shepherd instincts kicking in. She sniffed around the edges, searching for any signs of weakness or hidden mechanisms.
Then she started to hacking the door with her paws, using the same precision she used to hack into the most secure systems. But no matter how she tried, the door remained stubbornly closed.
"Uh, I think I can't... The security system is so... So advanced," Luna said, panting with the effort as she stepped back from the door.
Her eyes, usually filled with confidence, were now clouded with frustration.
"But, you're the hacker puppy, honey... How could you not hack it?" Hershell asked, his voice filled with disbelief.
"I'm trying, but it's like the door itself is a puzzle," Luna said, her teeth gritting in concentration.
Her paws danced over the smooth surface of the door, searching for any button or seam that might give way. But there was nothing. The door was a sleek, unblemished expanse of wood that defied her every attempt.
"Um, guys... I think we should go from here, There are CCTV cameras watching us, I'm afraid Master will find out," Seca said nervously, his clumsy paws pointing at the unnoticed camera in the corner of the room.
"Relax, Seca. If he wanted us to stay out, he would've told us," Anna reassured, her tail wagging slightly as she nudged the door with her snout. "Besides, it's just a door... What could be so secret?"
"Yeah, I think you're right, Anna," Maxtone said, his ears perked up. "Let's go explore our home, but we'll keep our paws out of trouble."
The puppies turned away from the secret door, their tails wagging in excitement as they trotted down the hallway.
Each room they passed had been designed with their specific needs in mind, the cozy puppy playroom filled with toys and treats.
"Wow," the puppies murmured in unison as they stepped into the playroom.
It was a colorful wonderland of plush toys, chewables, and arcade games. The walls were adorned with paintings of their previous adventures, brought to life by hidden projectors that gave the illusion of movement.
"I want to play that, I want to play that!!" the puppies shouted as they crowded into the playroom, their eyes lighting up at the sight of the games.
The room buzzed with excitement as the pups explored the playroom, their little legs carrying them from one toy to the next. Svara found a chew toy that looked suspiciously like a USB stick and began to gnaw on it with glee.
Hershell and Luna playing race simulator, their tails wagging with excitement as they competed for the top spot. Meanwhile, Seca had found a giant hamster wheel and was tentatively poking at it, unsure if he should dare to climb inside.
*Time skip to the swimming pool*
At that time, the puppies were seen relaxing by the swimming pool. They lay on a long bench while watching the night full of sparkling stars above them.
"This is a life, right everypups... We're a super crazy-rich puppies gang," Hershell said, panting slightly as he watched the stars twinkle.
"Yeah, and we have the coolest master ever," Svara added, cuddling closer to Maxtone.
The German shepherd puppy leaned down and licked her gently, his eyes reflecting the moon's glow.
"This makes me remember the first time we all met," Lynna's voice come through her pup-tag, her gaze lost in the distant memories.
Her words were met with quiet nods from the other puppies, each lost in their own thoughts of the past.
"I still feel like this is a dream, we met and became a gang because Anna and Hershell were trying to save Master from a kidnapping, and now look at us," Luna said with awe, her eyes shimmering with joy.
"Hey hey hey... Luna, that's not true..." Anna corrected with a smirk, her tongue lolling out of her mouth as she lay down. "Actually, when we met for the first time when we saved Master, it wasn't because he was kidnapped, but because he was being taken to prison."
Hershell then continued, "yeah that's right, Master, before we meet, he was a terrorist suspect, and we helped to clear his name and catch the real culprits."
"I didn't even know that humans could be so... adventurous," Svara said, her eyes wide with wonder as she listened to Anna and Hershell's story.
The others nodded in agreement, their eyes reflecting the pool's rippling lights.
"But we're more than just a gang," Maxtone said, his deep voice cutting through the night air. "We're a family."
The puppies were so relaxed at that time that they didn't realize that their master, Jerony, had come home and standing right behind them.
"You guys are relaxing, puppies?"
"Yeah that's right, Master," Anna said as she looked behind her and saw Jerony standing and then she looked back at the swimming pool while smiling.
But a few seconds later, her smile disappeared as she shocked when she noticed that someone behind her was Jerony.
"Master!" Anna shocked, didn't expect that Jerony was there.
Jerony chuckled at their surprised reactions.
"C'mon puppies, go into the house, it's already late at night," Jerony said gently, his eyes filled with affection as he looked at them.
"O-okay Master," the puppies stuttered in unison, their tails wagging nervously as they realized they had been caught in their nighttime escapade.
They scurried back into the house, their little paws clicking on the tiles as they raced to the living room.
Jerony followed them, shaking his head with a smile. He knew they had been exploring while he was gone, but he couldn't help but feel a warmth in his heart at their curiosity and bond.
As they rushed into the house, he took a moment to gaze up at the night sky, feeling a profound sense of gratitude for the life he had been granted. His thoughts drifted to the secret he kept from them, the one that had brought him so much peace and strength in his darkest hours.
