Hey, I found out SubscribeStar has the option to sell collections as one-time purchases just like Patreon does! Now both my Patreon and my Subscribestar have pretty much ALL the same content and options. Yay!
So yeah, same as before, you can buy access to ALL my content without having to subscribe... on SubscribeStar now too! If that matters to you!
While I'm at it, here's my opinions about the two platforms: Both work, both are clunky in different ways. I'm happy to have them and you should use whichever you prefer. If you have no preference just use Patreon, I dunno.
SubscribeStar is not very transparent with its fees, has slightly (very slightly) higher fees, and is a pain in the butt during Tax season. SubscribeStar doesn't notify me when subscribers change pledges, doesn't record pledges very clearly for my record purposes, and has a slightly ugly interface.
On the other hand Patreon, although prettier, somehow has an even clunkier interface. Patreon keeps trying to sneak ads in and change my settings and all those other signs of a big corporation. Lots of people don't trust Patreon for NSFW services cause of stuff they did in the past.
I'm really glad they both exist and are still healthy competitors against each other and that I'm not stuck with only one option. They give my fans a way to support me for drawing naughty jerbo pictures, so I can't really knock them too hard. Thank you everyone for your support and help and advice! I didn't know what Patreon was doing, someone had to tell me, that's why I added SubscribeStar in the first place. So thank you, all of you, for all the help you've given me all these years! And thanks to Patreon and SubscribeStar for helping me do my thing. <3
Both Patreon and SubscribeStar have "collections" tabs, not in the side bar but listed horizontally in the creator view. There's also "shop" and "membership" and other options on the same list of tabs.
On Patreon you can either sell individual posts OR you can create a "collection" and then set up a one-time price for access to that. Patreon keeps changing their appearance and organization so even I have to play the "click everything to find stuff" game.

Posts and drafts? I don't even see that. Like I mentioned, Patreon and SubscribeStar are both kinda jank. You might have to dig through their how-tos or send somebody an email. Oh and another thing, it looks different on phone vs computer. You can't do everything on their limited, clumsy phone app.
