He's finished! Just in time for Eurofurence! Heading out to travel to Hamburg just after posting this.
There are things I'd love to improve, e.g. give him hair, a lip and fix a few smaller issues, but for my first fursuit head? Not too bad!
Based on a heavily modified 3d-printed base from tioh.bsky.social, I modeled nose and removable ears from scratch, the latter being slightly translucent for light effects. It also includes nose and ear fans with simple electronics to run off a USB power bank.
I'm looking forward to Eurofurence and hope to meet some of you there!
