Samantha Smiles: Owner of the Daycare. Her age is unknown, but there seems to be a strange magic from her. She created First Steps Daycare with her two children in response to discovering their permanent incontinence, hoping to create an environment that's more accepting. She's not the same as her Sunny Paws Daycare counterpart, though some similarities are there.

Vanilla Lop: Manager. Age is 34, and she's incontinent from birth. She's not shy about her diapers, but does work in the back so parents don't see. She manages the day-to-day activities of the daycare, along with the other managerial duties such as budgeting and inventory.

Mabel Bell: Supervisor. Age is 27. She's an ABDL who tries to hide it, but it's fairly obvious, and not just because of her thick underwear. Mabel can act just as childish as the children she looks after, and even has her own pacifier in her wool. She purposefully diaper-trained herself, and prefers them over the toilet. Fortunately, Samantha treats her with respect and doesn't judge her for her lifestyle.

Othtuc Sabor: Nurse. Age unknown. A non-binary Goodra that cares for both the staff and the children. The diaper they wear isn't for necessity, but rather is meant to show solidarity to those who do need them. Anything from diaper changes to first aid, they're the one people turn to.

Roy G. Bivon: Maintenance/Janitor. Age is 29. Roy is responsible for keeping the building in check. A clogged toilet, a dimming bulb, a faulty outlet, you name it, he'll repair it. Though he works on maintaining the building, he has caretaking knowledge and assists when needed, especially if it means keeping the kids from throwing things in the toilet, (among other things.)

Dawn & Dusk Eves: Kitchen. Ages 28 & 26. The two met as Eevee children and became fast friends, eventually evolving into the Espeon and Umbreon they are now. The two suffered from the same accident that led to them being incontinent, and though they felt ostracized by their peers, their relationship with each other only grew stronger, to the point of being married. Dawn is the younger of the two and tends to be playful and silly, where as Dusk is more mature and sensible, but still caring and loving. They both are the adoptive mothers of Gala, a Galarian Ponyta daughter they care for, (and hope to potty train soon.) Their jobs as chefs in the kitchen applies to both children and staff, and are quick to make lunches and snacks for everyone.

Night Sky: Secretary. Age 32. Leyenda's mother, and one who recently gave birth to her. She's using the daycare to both earn money and look after her newborn daughter. She was surprised to learn about the other staff and their conditions, but has been very welcoming regardless. As Secretary, she's the one parents see first upon entering, sparing the other staff members from being seen with their diapers showing.

Veronica Bohl: Intern. Age 17. As the eldest sister of Bonny and Betty, Veronica is the one bringing and looking after the two at the daycare. As a high school intern, she doesn't have much experience, but she is willing to learn. Of course, she didn't expect some of the staff to be in diapers, but she did grow to like them herself in secret. She doesn't "use" them, but she does find them comfortable and cute, combined with cute dresses and outfits. She has played dress up with her sisters, and playing "princesses" with them, but she still has a high-school reputation to maintain, so her likes and desires are kept private from her peers. Only those at the daycare, including her sisters, know her true nature, and will gladly keep it secret for her.

Gala Eves: Daughter of Dawn & Dusk. Age 1. Gala is a young Galarian Ponyta filly who loves to dress in a rainbow of colors. She's still learning the alphabet, and can walk relatively well. She knows of her mothers' conditions and diapers, despite their attempts to hide it, and believes everyone wears diapers.

Aura Sash: Child. Age 1. An Arctic Fox kit who is known to be very skittish. Her parents, (or rather foster parents,) have brought her to the daycare in the hopes of helping her come out of her shell. It's believed she came from an abusive family, and was put in foster care as a result. She's also fearful of bugs of various kinds.

Alice Cass: Child. Age 1. An energetic child who likes to play more than anything. She loves going on adventures and running around the playground. Can walk, but prefers to crawl when she can. Is learning about Tarot, but uses a deck of mismatched cards. Tends to need diaper changes often due to her hyperactive metabolism.

Regina Doe (last name unknown): Wild child. Age 2. A child found in the wilderness with a mix of wolf and sheep blood. Parents are currently unknown. She was adopted by Samantha to care for and help "retrain" her animalistic behavior. Acts more like a pet than a child, though the other children don't seem to mind. She is not potty trained, (or housebroken,) and requires diapers to prevent accidents.

Juniper Woods: Child. Age 2. Juniper is a nature-loving child, and prefers cloth diapers over disposable. Her parents share her enthusiasm of nature, but also taught her some independence. Because of this, she chooses not to potty train, though staff have tried training her on several occasions. She'll often be seen in the gardens helping care for the plants, or joining Clarise in a bug hunt. Is a vegetarian, as expected of Hippos.

Cindy Swirls: Child. Age 0 (6 months). Cindy is a newborn too little to crawl, and needs to be held to get around. She enjoys dust baths with baby powder to stay clean and fresh, (even when she's getting her diaper changed.) She often plays with those around her age, such as Hannah and Leyenda.

Hazzell Zola: Child. Age 3. Hazzell is a book-loving wildcat and a precocious reader. Though she's still learning more complex words, she is able to read at a 1st or 2nd grade level. She also loves to read with Lana, as she too is passionate for reading. She was born with permanent incontinence, and can't potty train, though that hasn't discouraged her from making friends where she can. Her family are immigrants from the African continent, though she was too little to remember which country.

Lana Marisol: Child. Age 3. An immigrant from Peru, her family came up North to start a better life for her. She's very curious about the world, and loves books as much as Hazzell, the two becoming fast friends. Like Hazzell, she was born with permanent incontinence, but is not too shy to make friends. A curious quirk of hers is that she wets any time it starts raining, even when she's recently wet herself earlier, though she can't explain why. Thankfully, she doesn't get too embarrassed about it thanks to her friends being similar.

Hannah Graymane: Child and sister of Hilda. Age 0 (5 months). A newborn foal still discovering the world, shy and nervous around older people. She looks up to Hilda for guidance, and tends to relax more with her around. She's friends with Cindy and Leyenda, as both are just as little, (if not younger,) than she is. She does, however, enjoy some of the older kids' company, such as Clarise, who regularly stands up for her when she's bullied, or Alice, who awes her with her tarot reading, (regardless of the cards she uses.) She's never without her pacifier, and will almost always have it in her mouth, and while Hilda has been teaching Hannah how to do magic like she can, she's still too little to channel that energy.

Hilda Graymane: Child and eldest sister of Hannah. Age 2. As the eldest sister to Hannah, Hilda looks after her baby sister and helps guide her through the curious world, (albeit through a babyish lens,) and acts as her protector. Hilda is a wizard in training as she can make plushies to cheer others up, including her baby sister, however she can also turn others into plush toys if they've been naughty or have bullied her sister and friends. She's prone to losing her diaper for various reasons, be it magical, plantlike, or just a simple diaper malfunction. (The second of the OC's not belonging to me, but by those who gave me permission, this one belonging to drebingrey39 on FA.)

Pearl Parasaur: Regressed Child. Age 73,000,000. (Appears 1 year.) A time-traveler from the Past that fell into a time vortex, regressing her to infancy while traveling 4th dimensionally. She was found by Samantha and cared for, both as a confused time traveler, and as a baby. Curious about the new world and its technology, Pearl learns about the Modern Day along with Tyler, a fellow time traveler like her. She isn't phased by her infantile form, though it was quite a surprise at first. She understand diapers and their importance to her, and finds them comfortable, often showing them off whenever she gets the chance. Her and Juniper enjoy each other's company and share their veggies.

Tyler Thylacine: Regressed Child. Age 3,200. (Appears 1 year.) A time-traveler from the Past that fell into the same time vortex Pearl fell into, though from a more recent time. The two were found by Samantha together, and were adopted by her. Like Pearl, he's curious about the new world, and its technology, though he doesn't fully understand the difference between boys and girls clothes, often wearing dresses and skirts. He hangs with the girls more often than the boys, and doesn't seem to mind if they see him as a girl.

Clarise Rhys: Child. Age 4. Clarise is a rebellious, but kind-hearted child that loves bug hunting with Juniper, playing pranks on her rival Princess, and being good friends with the other children. She's often hanging out with Amanda, seeing as she finds her fascinating, will often ask her questions about ants and her life before First Steps. She's incontinent, and proud of it, being a potty rebel to boot, and has often tried to convince others to ditch potty training as well, though this behavior has been somewhat corrected by the staff. She's prone to anger when her friends are bullied, and will jump into a fight to protect them.

Amanda Red: Adult Worker Ant. Age 4. An ant that lost her colony from unknown reasons. She was found by Samantha, who gifted her longevity, (as well as a slight body modification,) and developed her own personality to break away from the hivemind mentality. Amanda is a sports-loving girl with surprising strength, which surprises many who first see her. Being an ant, she's too small to potty train, (even as an adult ant,) and wears cloth diapers to avoid accidents. Her mandibles are retractable, and will come out of her mouth when she eats. She often seen with Clarise, who is fascinated with her, and tends to answer her questions.

Princess Cress: Child. Age 4. A somewhat bratty child, though not cruel, she tends to boss the other children around. She uses her cuteness to get what she wants, though not all are persuaded easily. Her and Clarise are rivals, (even polar opposites in some ways,) and tend to bicker and argue, often to the point the two challenge each other, or until Princess has an accident. She's a late-bloomer in potty training due to an incident in her earlier years that made her fearful of the toilet for a while, and wears a cloth diaper that can be pulled down like normal underwear. Being the daughter of a rich entrepreneur, she tends to wear many fancy clothes, and showing them off. However, she is very fond of her pink dress and tiara, as they enhance her cuteness, (and the padding on her rear can make her even cuter if she needs to be.)

Kevin Smiles: Child, Son of Samantha, and Twin Brother of Penelope. Age 2. He and Penelope are the children of Samantha, the owner of the daycare, and are the sole reasons it exists. The daycare is open to all, but specializes in children with incontinence or potty difficulties, as both he and Penelope have such conditions. He's often put in silly situations by the boys in "The Boys Club", a club he didn't really sign up for. Despite that, he does act as a "hall monitor" of sorts to prevent incidents or injury from happening, being protective of everyone, especially the newborns. He enjoys playing with his sister when he can, the two often racing together, and puts up with his situations if it makes her laugh and smile.

Cody Hallow: Child. Age 1. Cody is a somewhat mischievous kitten with a penchant for spooking the other children with ghost stories, or creepy remarks, though they're usually in good fun. He hangs out with the boys more often than girls, but does like to spook them every now and then. He always wears his devil hoodie, even to bed. Is scared of the toilet, claiming it as "The Potty Monster" and wants nothing to do with potty training.

Richie Hammond: Child and brother to Edel. Age 1. One of "The Boys", Richie is often joining the group in silly shenanigans. He tends to get hungry when stressed, and often don't like conflict. He and his sister do play together every now and then.

Will Lupis: Child and Baby Brother of Debbie. Age 1. Will is bold, adventurous, and mischievous. He tends to imitate what he sees on TV, and made the "Boy's Club" as a result. He embarrasses his sister often. He and the boys are often going on many misadventures, (i.e. playing pranks, scaring the girls, etc.) and has a "boys vs. girls" mentality.

Penelope Smiles: Child, Daughter of Samantha, and Twin Sister of Kevin. Age 2. She and Kevin are the children of Samantha, the owner of the daycare, and are the sole reasons it exists. Like Kevin, she is incontinent and can't potty train. Penelope loves to have fun, racing, and watching her brother be a silly goober.

Debbie Lupis: Child, and Eldest Sister of Will. Age 4. Debbie is the eldest sister of Will, and is often embarrassed or disgusted by his antics. She suffered injury when she was an infant, damaging her bladder muscles. While not complete incontinence, she does have trouble holding it, leading to frequent accidents. She's still shy about her diapers, but being in the daycare with others like her has emboldened her to show them off more. She loves anything pink, and will wear nothing else.

Edel Hammond: Child and Sister of Richie. Age 2. Edel is the elder sister of Richie. The two tend to play now and then, but she tends to hang with the girls. Edel loves her brother, no matter how silly he gets, and helps him whenever he gets into trouble. She's started potty training, but is still too little to make it consistently, needing her diapers to prevent accidents.

Bonny & Betty Bohl: Children, Twin Siblings and Baby Sisters of Veronica. Ages 1. Bonny and Betty are twins who are almost never apart. They love to play and dress up in princess outfits. Bonny loves bright colors, while Betty loves muted colors. They know about Veronica's secret desire, and enjoy playing with her.

Leyenda Enyo: Child, Daughter of Night Sky. Age 0 (1 month). A newborn just learning how to walk. Loves being a baby, and dresses. Anything pink and purple. Doesn't want to grow up, potty train, etc. (Different from her Little Sunny Paws Daycare counterpart.)
