My character Flopsy the Rabbit is a personification of the part of me that's in charge most of the time. He is the part who worries about possible ways things could go wrong, most especially parts of myself that I might be ostracised or punished for.
The song "Idol" by Yoasobi - especially its English version - reminds me a lot of Flopsy. The lyrics almost read like his manifesto: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RkjSfZ30GM4 The song popped into my head this evening so I decided to draw Flopsy with the same pose and outfit as the character in the video.
I always keep the messy sketch in an invisible layer to help me guide the final line work, and I had an idea mid-way through drawing this: what if I keep the messy sketch in, and make it part of the final picture. To kind of symbolise the parts of me Flopsy wishes weren't there, and wishes he could wash away.
