here on Inkbunny for this sexy and more detailed version of Diana's Blue form!
Yes, I've gotten Muni to do an amazing glowup of my previous adopt. I somewhat preserved the nervous, caught in the headlights vibe of the original incarnation, but I decided if she looked at someone like that full time it'd be a bit freaky, if not eerie. So, I had it changed that the Blue Crown does pass lingering traits of Kallamar's cowardice on her, but she's come far since she obtained his crown.
The Blue Crown is the Crown of Pestilence, able to heal and clean wounds instantly, or unleash the greatest of medical horrors, making even the most simple of wounds suddenly gangrene or worse, or unleashing horrific plagues and sicknesses only it can dream up with its Eldritch mind. This normally doesn’t sit well with Diana, as it was one of the plagues created by the Blue Crown that robbed her of her sight.
One can’t blame this makes Diana nervous, as her new ability to instantly have cellular vision can strike at any time, because the Blue Crown wants to help point out EXACTLY what’s wrong with someone’s health so she can help, but using the Crown's power and knowledge, she becomes a shy, if still very sexy and caring nurse. Quite fitting for one who's already become something of a caring big sister or maternal figure to her flock. One nice detail that carries over is that Diana may turn her fleece into a dress at will.
To further expand the details of this form, one notable detail about each of Diana's forms is the scent her wool gives off. In this form, she smells like sea breeze and coconut, reflecting Anchordeep's ties to the ocean. Her horns are their largest in this form, as they have transformed into crystal, giving them a rainbow splendor. Despite her personal feelings about the Blue Crown, at first, over time it is the first Crown to make her feel like the princess her flock treat her as.
Which, as you might imagine when you don’t have the best of self-esteem or feel you are attractive, tends to constantly blindside her and make her an embarrassed, it not happy, mess.
As for an expansion on my lore, the Blue Crown is, in fact, very brave unlike it's former host. Yes, it can create brand new plagues, viruses and bacteria as it sees fit, but it also takes a hardy stomach to observe the interior workings of a living body, from blood moving with each beat of the heart, or muscle constricting and relaxing. It has amazing medical prowess, able to gift Diana with the ability to magically solve problems for her flock with potions, or to perform operations that shouldn't be possible with the lack of technology of the CotL world.
While she's very nervous while wearing the Blue Crown, it does bring out her strong desire to see those around her in their best health, making her a damn fine nurse and therapist. Lord knows of badly that latter one is needed in the Lands of the Old Faith... And hey, with Woolhaven announced, it only felt right my favorite color get first dibs at the glow up!
