Virus type Digimon are often associated with mischief, and no other group better represents this fact than the Imp Gang. This group of rookie Digimon, comprised by Blacktailmon, Gazimon, an oddly purple Gabumon and an Impmon, loved to terrorize the digital denizens of the EDEN cyberspace by pulling a never-ending stream of pranks on both Digimon and human alike. The group didn’t have an official leader, although most of the time Gazimon would call the shots, being the most experienced of the group after all. The rest of the group would specialize in their favorite type of pranks: Account hacking for Blacktailmon, interface corruptions in the case of Gabumon and last but not least, system malfunctions for Impmon. With such a set of skills at their hand it’s no wonder that they quickly earned a nefarious reputation throughout the upper levels of the old EDEN cyberspace, even making most hackers think twice before approaching their turf.
However, EDEN denizens were not the only targets of their pranks. The gang had a golden rule: Members of the group had to regularly prove themselves to the rest by successfully pranking them. Thus, each member would occasionally try to best their friends, often leading to a spiral of constant pranks each worse than the last. Such was the case this fateful day in which, after a whole afternoon of mischief, the group warped back to their secret base, unaware of the fact that Impmon had tampered with the warping parameters. As a result of that, Gazimon, Gabumon and Blacktailmon soon found themselves pixel-sized in the middle of their lounge. To make matters worse, they soon found themselves under the looming shadow of Impmon, who wasted no time in mocking them and celebrating another successful prank. However, this wasn’t the end of it. Over the years, Impmon had garnered a bit of a reputation as a reckless and careless Digimon who often took things a bit too far. As such, after he was done celebrating, he opted to take a seat near the three shrunken pranksters, instead of restoring their size.
From the tiny group’s perspective their entire horizon was soon replaced by two towering purple walls. The two gargantuan paws were positively steaming and soon the air around them was completely overtaken by Impmon’s aggressive musk. In addition, Impmon’s perspiration started pooling around the base of both paws, creating salty lakes comparatively so large that the tiny pranksters would be able to swim in them. The speck’s attention would be occasionally caught by the twitching of Impmon’s toes, wafting some additional scent in their direction as well as dislodging grime boulders which fell to the ground like meteors. All of this happened whilst they were under the distant yet watchful eyes of Impmon, who looked at his shrunken comrades with expectation.
It had been a long day and the group hadn’t even stopped once to take a breather. As a result of this, Impmon was drenched in sweat and his paws were both dusty and aching for some relief. Seeing that he had three convenient specks right in front of him he decided to make some good use of them. Perhaps if they did a good job with his paws he’d consider restoring their size in a few days…
