After a long journey from Destiny Islands, Kairi reached Twilight Town, but instead of landing the ship inside the city, she decided to land behind the abandoned mansion on the outskirts so as not to attract much attention. She didn't come to Twilight Town for no reason. She knew that if something extremely weird happened, she could return to the Mysterious Tower if necessary. She soon left the mansion and crossed the forest until she reached the city itself. Looking to the sides, she noticed that the place was still peaceful, but she noticed that there was some recent damage or other, but nothing important. Without caring about it, she walked through the middle of the city, until she reached the back alleys, where she found a place she quickly recognized and entered the hideout.
Inside the hideout, she found two boys and a girl talking to each other, until they soon became aware of the new presence, finding Kairi smiling.
"Kairi!" The girl yelled smiling.
"What a surprise!" Said one of the boys, surprised.
The four of them were glad to see each other for a long time. Soon the three of them, Hayner, Pence, and Olette, were talking about everything that had happened, and of course, Kairi explained everything that had happened since Lea, in her time as Axel, and Isa, in her time as Saix, kidnapped her, from that moment, until the end of the second Keyblade War. Fortunately, Lea, Roxas, Xion, and Isa had told them what happened last year, so she only had to explain what happened since then, which did not take long to finish.
"Hey, I'm sorry about what happened to Sora,” Olette said after hearing the story.
"I still don't believe that all that happened last year,” Pence commented. "And now your friend Riku left too?"
"Yes, but I hope that one day I will return to him,” Kairi said with a smile.
“I just hope he is lucky. Sora is our friend too, as you already know,” Hayner said.
"I hope so."
"Sure. At least thanks to him we know Roxas and the others,” Hayner said. "You don't know the face he made when he saw us."
"I'm sure of that,” Kairi said. "As far as I know, Roxas had you as friends in that virtual world."
"Well yes, that's true,” Olette said. "When we investigated the data for the digital Twilight Town under the mansion, we were surprised to see our avatars there."
"I think Pence almost fell off his chair when he saw his avatar,” Hayner said with a smile.
"That's not true!" Pence exclaimed. "And besides, you were the one who jumped when he saw your avatar."
"I didn't! I was just a little surprised, that's all,” Hayner replied.
"Come on, you almost hit the roof of the room,” Olette said.
"Don't lie!" Hayner exclaimed.
Kairi laughed at the discussion of the three. "And how are things around here?" Kairi asked.
“Well, not much has happened. Everything continues as if nothing important happened,” Pence said.
"Not to mention that since the last Struggle, Seifer has been a real pain, both he and his Disciplinary Committee,” Hayner said. "They're really irritating!"
"Suppose,” Kairi said, knowing that she hardly knew about the other inhabitants of that world except for what they told her.
"Oh, and the restaurant they opened last year is still a hit in town,” Pence said.
"True, although things aren't going well for it since the incidents started,” Olette commented.
"Incidents?" Kairi asked.
"Yes. Recently, when the tower touches twelve, after the twelfth bell, one more bell rings, and strange things start to happen,” Olette explained.
"What strange things?" Kairi asked more curiously.
“I know it will sound crazy to you, but at that moment strange monsters begin to appear, some really horrible, and attack everyone who is in the streets. They are usually very dangerous, but they end up disappearing when the one o'clock bell rings,” Pence explained. "During that hour, going out is a real danger."
"And... do you have any idea what those things are like?" Kairi asked, thinking they could be Heartless or Nobody.
"They are neither Heartless nor Nobody, that is clear,” Hayner said.
"Although the truth, in addition to being some really ugly, many of them seem to have a strange mark of a bat with outstretched wings or something like that,” Said Pence
Much worse, the Fallen. "I see,” She didn't want to admit it, but she was surprised to meet these beings again, which made her remember what happened in Radiant Garden. This also makes her remember the destruction of Twilight Town, now knowing the cause of it.
“Adults are still looking for some explanation for this, but in the meantime, we must maintain a strict curfew that begins at a quarter to twelve, to give ourselves time to go home or hide until a quarter past one, to make sure we that there are no more of them,” Olette explained.
"But it is most likely temporary,” Hayner said. "I bet whatever reason these things show up will be temporary, and we'll be back to normal soon."
"I don't think so,” Kairi said. “I've met them before, and believe me, they are terrible. Just saying that I had to deal with a skeletal spider the size of this place is saying enough,” She said pointing to the hiding place, making Pence gulp in fright.
“Well, I don't think it's that bad. As long as we are with this plan, everything will be fine,” Hayner said.
"Is right. As long as we avoid being out at those hours, we will be fine,” Olette said.
Kairi wasn't quite sure about them. But she then she thought of one thing.
"Hey, Roxas and the others haven't had a problem with them before?" Kairi asked. After all, if the Fallen are in Twilight Town, Roxas and Lea should already know them. And yet their first meeting was in Radiant Garden.
“For some reason, they were trying to avoid being seen by them. But yesterday they became fiercer than before,” Olette said.
"Yes, even Xion and Isa have had to help take care of them,” Pence said.
"I understand,” Kairi said.
After saying goodbye to the group, she began to walk aimlessly through the city, observing the little, but serious damage that they caused in those periods. She knew they should be stopped, but… How?
Soon, without realizing it, she arrived at the Solar. Looking around she could see that it seemed to be the only intact place in the city.
She glanced around her, seeing if there was any clue to the Fallen in the area, when suddenly a hand tapped her shoulder from behind, scaring her and causing her to turn ready to fight.
"You seem a little tense, did you know?" The person in front of her said.
Kairi noticed that this person was wearing a black tracksuit and pants, had long blue hair and navy eyes, although she quickly recognized the x-scar between her eyes.
"Isa!" Kairi exclaimed, letting out a sigh. "You gave me a good scare, did you know?"
"It was not my intention,” Isa said. "May I know what you are doing here?"
"You could say it's for personal reasons,” Kairi said until she suddenly went defensive. “It is not because of what you think! It has nothing to do with Sora or Riku! "
"Don't worry, I didn't say anything,” Isa said to calm her down. "Changing the subject, have you seen a girl named Marlene around here?"
"Who?"
“A girl who lives in this world. No one knows where she is,” Isa explained.
"I'm afraid not, I just got here recently, and I've talked to some friends before,” Kairi replied.
"Well, what a problem,” Isa said. "Her father is looking for her, and he is currently hitting the roof,” Isa looked from her to the clock tower. "And it will be 12 o'clock very soon, which worries me."
Kairi nodded, already knowing what happened when the clock struck 12.
"Hey you,” Said a voice near her, making them both turn around, meeting three boys, one of them very dwarf and strange clothes that made him look like a 'black magician', and a girl. One of the boys, the one who looked like the leader, addressed Kairi. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
“My name is Kairi. And who are you? " Kairi asked.
"Don't you know who we are, miss?" Said one, the strongest of them, a little offended. "Don't you know that we are from the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee?"
"The Disciplinary Committee?" Kairi asked, soon getting the idea. "Oh, I see. Hayner and the others told me about you,” She said and looked at the ringleader. "I guess you must be Seifer."
"You're right. And they are Rai, Fuu and Vivi,” Introduced Seifer. “But you haven't answered me yet. What are you doing here? Don't you know what happens? "
"Yes, I already have an idea of what happens,” Kairi replied. "Shouldn't you go back to your homes?"
"Not. Not this time,” Fuu said.
"This time we are not going to run away like the others!" Rai said, confusing Kairi.
"What are you saying? Have you gone crazy? " Isa asked upon hearing them.
“Of course not. When the twelve bells ring, we will be waiting for those creatures, and we will give them what they deserve so that they do not return,” Seifer said confidently.
"Seriously, have you guys gone crazy?!" Kairi asked surprised at the four's lack of common sense. "I've faced them before, and they're not to be taken as a joke!"
"It doesn't matter! This is our city, and we will not let outsiders, no matter how monstrous, loot our city thoroughly! "
"Stop talking nonsense and go home quickly!" Isa exclaimed. "I don't have time to have to watch them and find Barret's daughter."
Kairi sighed desperately at her demeanor, but when she wanted to say something, the chimes of the clock tower at the top of the city began to ring.
"Damn it, it's too late!" Isa exclaimed, looking at the clock tower.
"Get ready,” Seifer said. "They will arrive soon."
Soon the twelfth chime sounded. At first, nothing happened, but...
"There!" Vivi said pointing to the side.
Several glowing circles appeared on the ground, from where a small group of zombies and skeletons began to emerge, soon supported by Ignis Specters and very similar but blue ones. Seifer and the others were prepared to pounce on them, but Kairi and Isa stopped them by putting their weapons in between.
“I take care of them. Stay behind. Isa, don't do anything foolish, ”she said and ran towards the Fallen before Seifer could reply.
Kairi did not take long to dispatch a small part of the Fallen, she even used part of the Solar to face them as a weapon or barrier. She also faced the Ignis Wraith as she could, considering that her Fire spell did nothing to them, but she noticed that the blue wraith abused Blizzard spells, which led her to assume that the fire would affect them. During the fight, she saw that Seifer and the others were surrounded by some of the Fallen who were targeting them, but Isa kept them at bay by using his Claymore against them.
After destroying much of the Fallen, something else soon appeared: a kind of animated gray and yellow armor, armed with an axedesigned like a chakram. Before she ran towards him, the armor threw the axeat her, who quickly avoided, but saw perfectly that said weapon acted like a boomerang, returning soon to the armor. Keeping this in mind, she faced the living armor, soon destroying it.
Despite having dispatched part of them, she was soon surrounded by four axearmor, each of them on one side of the Solar. She prepared herself but heard a distant loud noise as if something stone was being broken or ripped away. When she looked at the source of the noise, she noticed that a large circular structure with a circular cone on top of it was flying from the Station Tower to where she was, about to crush her.
"Kairi!" Isa exclaimed when trying to save her, but one of the Fallen stood in the middle of her.
Just then, where she was, there was a glow and soon the structure fell to the ground, being seriously destroyed. This event shocked Isa and the others, who stared in horror at the cloud of dust rising from the rubble, even coughing as part of it reached them, as they began to wonder what had happened. When the dust cleared, they saw the poor condition of the structure, but soon noticed something next to it.
There was Kairi, who seemed to have rolled to the side in time to avoid being crushed. When she got up, she looked at what was about to crush her, but then she noticed that something had changed in her. When she looked at herself, she noticed that I brought her from her drastically. She now seemed to be wearing a kind of light female armor, with certain details and feathers that seemed to be taken from a yellow bird.
"Hey, where did you get that from?" Rai asked in confusion.
"Don't ask me," Fuu asked.
One of the armors took a step, clattering through the debris, catching Kairi's attention. She looked around her, seeing the four armors approaching her. Despite the situation, she prepared for battle.
One of the armors attacked Kairi with the axe in a boomerang plan, but she dodged the attack, but faster than her before, being able to move fast and hit the armor until it was destroyed. The other three armors walked towards her, but she was able to avoid each of her attacks with an agility and dexterity that didn't seem typical of her, allowing him to dispatch almost instantly with two of her armors. When there was only one piece of armor left, he threw his axeat him, but he blocked the axewith his keyblade and used one of the bricks on the ground as a projectile, hitting him in the head, giving him the necessary opening to run with incredible speed, destroying a quick blow to the armor.
After destroying the four armors, no more Fallen appeared on the Solar. Kairi took a deep breath, catching her breath. Soon Isa and the others approached her.
"How did you do that?" Seifer asked.
"How did I do what?" Kairi asked, still taking a breath.
"You already know! Those movements, that costume change! It's the first time I saw something like that!" Rai said excitedly.
"For me, it is the first time I have seen that,” Vivi said.
"Yes,” Fuu simply replied.
"I've seen a lot while in the Organization XIII, but I have to admit that this is the craziest I've ever seen,” Isa said.
"To be honest, I have not the slightest idea,” Kairi said already recovered. “I don't know how I did it. Changing the subject...” Kairi said, looking at the rubble near them.
"There is no doubt, it is part of the Station Tower,” Seifer said.
“Yes, there is no doubt. What could be so strong that he could throw something like that from the tower, all the way here? " Rai asked, scratching his head, confused.
"None of the creatures we've seen so far could do this damage,” Isa said.
"Whatever it is, it sure is still there,” Kairi said, looking at the direction the object was coming from.
"Are you planning to go?" Vivi asked.
"So is. If one of these things can cause this destruction, it is best to stop it,” Kairi said, starting to move.
"I wouldn't want to let you go alone, but I have a few things to say to the Disciplinary Committee,” Isa said, glaring at the small group.
"Relax, I'll be fine,” Kairi said, smiling when he started running.
She soon reached Market Street, but after walking around a bit, her dress changed to the typical normal one that she had. This made her begin to think what was happening, not realizing that a skeleton was following her across the rooftops, ready to launch itself on her. Without warning, however, Kairi heard a repetitive noise of gunfire that made her cover her ears and instinctively duck. When the noise stopped, she heard something fall and saw that it was a skeleton full of bullet holes before disappearing.
"Are you okay, child?"
Kairi got up and turned to see who was speaking, finding a huge dark-skinned man with braided hair, wearing a white vest, a fishnet shirt, green pants, and brown boots. The most striking thing about this man was a cannon with three auxiliary cannons in the right arm that became a normal forearm.
"Yes, thanks,” Kairi nodded for a moment. "Who are you?" Kairi asked.
"My name is Barret. And you child?"
"My name is Kairi,” Kairi replied. “And by the way, I'm not a child, you know? I'm 16."
"Sorry for the comment,” Barret replied.
Then Kairi remembered something. "Hey, you didn't meet Isa, would you?"
"Isa? Yes, she is helping me look for my little girl, although I wish I had found her before this situation,” Barret explained.
"Marlene? Yes, Isa has already told me,” Kairi said.
"That's fine. By the way, how did you do that? " Asked the man.
"The fact that?"
“The old thing, that way you wore before. I saw you in those clothes before you transformed. "
"You mean what happened to me?"
"Yes that's how it is. For a moment it seemed to me that you were disguised as Chocobo or something. Do you know what an Eidolon is? "
"Well, I have read a little about them,” Kairi said, knowing that they were ostrich-like birds that could run at high speed and carry people on their backs and that they came in various colors. "Hey, what's an Eidolon?"
“I'm not an expert, but it looks like a simple explanation would be worth it anyway. Eidolons are mystical beings that certain people with specific abilities can summon to fight their enemies. You seem to have that power but in reverse. "
"In reverse?" Kairi asked and Barret followed.
"Yes. Normally, those who invoke them usually generate that energy and expel it to the outside to generate the Eidolon, but for some reason, it seems that when you generate that energy, you fuse it in yourself, acquiring the power of that Eidolon, changing your appearance and some skills. "
"Is that what happened to me?" Kairi asked thinking about what happened recently.
"Yes. As far as I know, acquiring such a power is not easy at all, and the conditions for awakening such power are very varied and very complicated. Has something happened to you, isn't it? "
"Yes, a fragment of the Station Tower fell on me!" Kairi replied. "And just then this happened to me."
"Yeah, I've also seen that piece flying through the sky does nothing,” Barret said. "And it couldn't have happened at a better time, since the Chocobo is one of the most basic Eidolons, and it has helped you in that situation."
"I understand, and does that mean I could use it again if necessary?" Kairi asked curiously
"Of course!" Barret said. “But I think that is not permanent, and most likely it only lasts for a while. Or exhaust the magic it requires to use it. "
"I see. Thanks,” Kairi said returning to her way.
"Wait,” Barret said. "Are you heading to the Station?"
"Yes, the Fallen who threw that chunk at me must still be there,” Kairi replied.
“Then I'll go too. I don't want that thing going around destroying everything. Also, what if my little Marlene is there? "
"That would be crazy but, to prove,” Kairi replied.
"Thank you, little girl,” Barret said, making Kairi sigh. "Let me give you something,” He said and started searching her pockets for a while until he pulled out what looked like an electronic diary and handed it to Kairi.
"What is this?" Kairi asked.
“That agenda detects and stores the data of those things. It could be useful to identify them. I have already met some of them. "
She glanced at the agenda, looking at the information of the Fallen that she had previously defeated, being the same ones that she already faced before, and then she looked at Barret. "Thank you, it will be useful for sure,” Kairi said and started to move, followed by Barret.
Soon Kairi and Barret reached the Station Square, seeing that the area was pretty trashed. As they looked around, they saw a girl leave the station looking around. This girl had brown hair in a brown-eyed braid, dressed in a white high-necked shirt and white skirt, and beige shoes. Barret reacted when he saw the girl.
"Marlene!" Barret yelled.
The girl turned when she heard her cry. "Daddy!"
At that moment, a noise was heard upstairs and they looked at the Station's tower and saw that something ripped off another part of the tower and threw it towards Kairi. This time prepared, both she and Barret avoided the fall of the object that shattered as it fell to the ground. Kairi looked at the being and saw how it leaped into the void, landing close to them, causing a strong earthquake upon landing.
It was a massive iron armor, almost as massive as a Dark Side, armed only with a massive spiked mace attached to an iron pole. Kairi stared blankly at the huge metal beast, but she noticed that Marlene was behind the huge metal beast.
"Get back inside, quickly!" Kairi indicated to Marlene, and she soon ran into the Station.
Damn tin with legs. How dare you scare my little girl like that? " Barret said angrily, turning his right arm into a cannon and pointing his weapon at the Fallen. "I'm going to turn your ass into a sieve, armored spawn!"
Kairi was the first to lunge at her and began slamming the armor down her legs, while Barret peppered her chest with her weapon. But it seemed like the blows to her legs was doing nothing to her, and then Kairi recoiled as the armor lifted her mace and tried to crush her with it. After gaining some distance from her, Kairi cast a Firaga spell against it, and from the chasing trajectory of the spell, she found out that her only weak point was her head after receiving a hit, but she did not contemplate the possibility of reaching she in jumps. Not even with her current training could she reach that high!
Seeing that magic was the only thing he could use, he decided to keep his distance and decided to cast Thundaga spells against the monster, but he soon realized that distance was also a problem: The ball of the mallet came loose from the iron pole, showing a chain which connected both ends, and threw the ball like a long-range flail, trying to smash it from afar, but luckily Kairi was able to avoid it by jumping to the side.
"But what the hell is that, a mace or a flail?!" Barret exclaimed when he saw how the giant armor used the weapon.
The armor picked up the ball in the mallet and threw it again, but Kairi avoided the ball again. The armor tried to pick up the chain, but then something blocked the pickup, preventing him from picking it up and struggling. Kairi looked up and saw the woman in the red robe near the spiked ball, holding the chain with one foot.
"Who the hell is that?" Barret asked when he saw the woman.
"No idea,” Kairi replied.
Without warning, the woman released the chain as the armor used great force to retrieve it, and the ball flew off, striking the armor's helmet. The blow was so strong that he fell to the ground on her rear, totally stunned by the blow.
Kairi and Barret saw what happened, but when they tried to thank the woman, she had disappeared, but they did not waste time and while Barret riddled the body, Kairi ran towards the armor, and taking advantage of the decrease in height of the head, began to hit her with aerial blows. He soon noticed that the armor was beginning to come to its senses and she backed away quickly to avoid any onslaught of the armor as it rose.
"What do we do now? Any ideas?" Barret asked as he continued firing.
"It is simple. We have to force him to throw that weapon and jam it with something so that it hits his head when he is released."
"Ok, got it. And who the hell is going to be the bait, miss?"
Kairi began to back away after avoiding the first blow from the armor and waited for it to throw its ball as before to repeat the process, tempting it with Thundaga spells to force it to attack.
But she not expected the armor to point the weapon at her as if it were a sword ready to pierce, and after a ‘thrust’, the ball shot off the stick like a bullet, almost hitting her if she hadn't been out of the way. Right after the hit, the armor retrieved the spiked ball and repeated the process a couple of times. It finally threw the ball as before, hitting the ground hard. Kairi seized the opportunity and blocked the chain tightly, starting a strong pulse between her and the armor. When she saw that the armor was pulling hard, she released the chain, causing the spiked ball to hit his head, stunning him as before, leaving it on the ground sitting, the moment that she took the opportunity to run and fiercely hit the head of the armor with what that I had.
"Heh, you don't seem so tough anymore do you?" Barret commented as Kairi kept hitting the armor.
When it recovered, Kairi backed away confidently and something unexpected happened. The massive armor flailed angrily and started swinging the chain and mace/frail madly, slamming the ground in front of it violently, extending the range of attack with each impact on the ground.
"If I know I don't say anything!" Barret exclaimed, turning away from the chain's attacks.
Kairi was forced to step back and avoid the blows from the spike ball brought on by her anger. After calming down a bit, she started attacking Kairi with her mace/flail, but this time the armor was faster and seemed to react faster to what was happening, preventing Kairi from reaching for the flail chain.
Seeing that she could not go very far, Kairi decided to run lucky and concentrated, trying to repeat what had happened, but she could not concentrate much since the armor would not stop assaulting her with her huge weapon.
“Barret, I'm going to try to see if it works! Could you distract him? " Kairi asked Barret.
"Said and done!" Barret said, soon loading her weapon and launching a fireball that slammed into the head of the armor. "Hey you! Leave the girl alone and fight someone of your size, giant junk heap! "
Following these insults, the giant armor began to focus its attacks on Barret, forcing him to be on the move all the time and avoid the constant attacks with the giant armor's mace/flail at the same time that it riddled him with gunshots, all for Kairi had time to do what he was doing.
And praying that it works, because otherwise, the alternative would be bad...
Finally thanks to Barret's distraction, Kairi was able to concentrate enough to feel that power that she could feel the other time, and she unleashed that force within herself, causing at the same time that I brought her to change to the Chocobo style.
"Took you darn time, girl!" Barret exclaimed, getting tired of being bait for the huge Fallen.
Now ready, and with increased reflexes and agility, she was able to attract the attention of the Fallen, while avoiding more fluidly the attacks of the armor, but she knew that the effect would be short-lived due to her inexperience, so she needed the right moment.
Gotcha! The armor tried to crush her with the ball, and Kairi nimbly grabbed the chain, causing a struggle between them again, and when she saw the occasion, she let the ball come back, knocking the armor to the ground. Seeing that she had no other choice, she rushed towards the armor and began to hammer the head of the armor with everything she had, while Barret continued to riddle the monster with bullets while avoiding hitting Kairi, till, with a heavy blow from her, she sent the upper part of the armor to the ground.
"It's over?" Barret asked seeing the giant armor on the ground.
He jerked his head to the ground from the blow and began to lift his torso, lifting the mace to crush her with it, but Kairi was quick and made a swift attack with the keyblade. It was so fast that after the thrust, she appeared just behind the armor. She stood up and made a diagonal movement with her sword, and at that moment the helmet of the armor fell to the ground from the side, landing next to Kairi. Soon the armor began to glow and exploded in an explosion of darkness, freeing the hearts and souls trapped in the Fallen. She sighed, knowing it was over.
"Ha! Way to go, girl!" She cheered Barret at Kairi upon seeing her victory.
Kairi looked at the Station Square, seeing the effects of the brutal force of the armor, and soon saw the woman from before, who was standing on the railing, ready to jump.
"Wait!" She asked the stranger for Kairi. "Who are you?"
This she did not answer, and she just jumped into the void. Kairi and Barret ran to the railing, but they had lost sight of it. From there, she could see how the Flying Fallen began to disappear.
"What a strange woman,” Barret said. "Although we owe him one of her since if it weren't for her, we wouldn't have known how to take that thing down."
"You're right,” Kairi said.
Kairi and Barret turned to look at Station Square, seeing the damage that had occurred, and letting out a hiss from Barret. "The bill to repair all this is going to be astronomical at best."
“Don't look at me. It was that hulking armor that caused the damage,” Kairi replied. "And I doubt I have the money to pay for all this. Although I have heard that someone here has money to spare for repairs."
“The rich duck? I'd be surprised if he dropped a coin to repair all this,” Barret commented. "All the rich are greedy clutches who only care about themselves."
"That is your opinion,” Kairi replied.
Both observed the destruction until they saw that several people left the station, surely trapped by it.
"Daddy!"
Little Marlene ran through the crowd to Barret, who soon knelt when she reached him.
"Marlene!" Barret exclaimed, hugging the little girl with both arms as she hugged him back. "Are you okay, Marlene?"
"Yes Daddy,” Marlene said nodding her head. "And are you okay too?"
"Perfectly!" Barret replied with a smile. "Did you think a lot of junk could beat me?"
"Never!" Marlene said with a smile.
"That is my girl!" Barret said, picking her up and sitting her on his shoulder.
Kairi forced a small cough, catching their attention.
"Oh, sorry. Marlene, this lady is called Kairi. Believe it or not, she has given me a hand,” Barret said to Marlene.
"I think it was the other way around, but it was a pleasure,” Kairi said with a smile.
"Kairi!"
Kairi turned around, watching as Isa ran over.
"Isa!"
"Too little too late!" Barret exclaimed upon seeing Isa.
"Barret? What are you doing here?" Isa asked when she saw Barret.
"What do you think? Save my girl. "
Isa looked at Kairi, who just shrugged. "In case you're interested, the Fallen who nearly crushed me before is finished."
"Yes, I imagine it,” Isa replied. “Now that this is over, where do you plan to go? Are you going back to Yen Sid?
"Not. As I believe, it seems that the Fallen are related to my past, which I don't know, so I have to trace them. Kairi said. "Also, other worlds may be having trouble with them."
"I see. In my opinion, you should ask Yen Sid about that,” Isa replied. "And at least take someone with you."
“Thank you, but this is something I have to do alone. I don't want them to end up in this,” Kairi said. "Which reminds me...” Then Kairi took her Gumiphone and handed it to Isa, confusing him a bit. "I'd rather they didn't follow me."
"I understand,” Isa replied.
"Wait, are you going to follow those things?" Barret asked.
"Do you know how?" Kairi asked.
"Well, it's not much, but an acquaintance of me told me something very curious,” Barret said. “According to him, those things tend to jump from world to world like a network of bridges. He says that if someone were to step out of this world and look, he would be able to see a trail connecting various worlds. I guess if you follow that trail, you'll find them wherever they are. But I'd be careful if you follow that trail, they seem to have some kind of mission with you. So if you want my opinion, if you're going to follow those things, I would suggest avoiding those worlds sometimes, okay? "
She nodded and looked at the city. "Yes, I will keep that in mind,” She replied, thinking of the destiny that will reserve for her the path that she has decided to take.
"What?! Did you let Kairi go alone?! ” Roxas asked in surprise, knowing that Yen Sid had allowed herself to go away.
Yen Sid had explained to everyone in his tower about Kairi's departure, seeing the Keyblade users' caution.
"It was her decision,” Yen Sid replied. "I had no possibility of stopping her."
"But why leave her alone?" Aqua asked.
"Aqua is right. That specter could come after her again. If she is alone, she will not be able to do anything,” Lea said.
“You forget, that what happened in Radiant Garden gave her some immunity to the specter of Death. That mark on the back of her neck will protect her from it,” Yen Sid explained.
"What if Death manages to break that seal?" Terra asked.
"The magic surrounding the seal is very powerful, even for Death,” Yen Sid replied.
"We could contact her with the Gumiphone,” Xion suggested.
"It's not possible. This is something she must do alone, and knowing that you would go looking for her, she has given her Gumiphone to Isa,” Yen Sid said. "Just now I got a message from him explaining what happened in Twilight Town."
"What a chore!" Roxas cursed.
"So, what can we do now?" Lea asked.
“Now you must prepare. For the appearance of the Fallen only means one thing,” Yen Sid said, and they all stared at him.
“The advent of something worse. After sixteen years, He has awakened. "
