This time, not even pretending to play nice, Alyx lunged and slammed the enemy to the ground with her paws.
In a swift, practiced motion, she drew the knife Amadeus had given her earlier, muttering an apology to the host in her thoughts,
and plunged it into the back of the demon’s neck — severing his spine and nerves in one clean strike. He died instantly.
