Researchers in Ireland found an very old Bestiary. The grimoire was written in a mixture of old Irish Gaelic and Latin, of all things. Most the book was in a bad state, little more then taters and dust. But a few pages were in remarkably good condition. Such as the one displayed here.
One of researchers started to try to translate and wrote notes on the page, before their fellow researchers stopped them.

Wanted to see if I could get a look like an old manuscript. It's a promising start, even if the image isn't quiet as rough as I might have liked. It did turn out well regardles. Traditional impaint work on the tail and some details. Some photoshop work, slightly on the figure, mostly on the text and layout.
