"We were marching towards the bottom of the cave. We wanted to finish this arduous job of finding the vein that the first prospectors who had disappeared had discovered. I was cold and scared. My partner was moving forward and covering me. We feared the worst. In case of an accident, they won't send anyone; we're the last. I don't want to disappear, so I want it to be quick.

We are now 280 meters deep. In a few dozen meters, we will have finished the job and will come back up. But something is wrong. I can see the vein, but not the prospectors. Where are they?
