Why can't I hold all this squee? Truly, Marine is turning up the Cute to 11 here, her face is just the most cheek-pinchably adorable thing maybe ever. You handled her head shape really well, and her big grin is the best. Not to mention watching her push those proto-breasts up like that just makes me giggle. The sparkly splash behind her adds a kind of classy, old-world artistic niche to it as well. <3
Meanwhile, Blaze blushing is a thing so rare and fun that I don't think I could not love it. She's so confused 'n conflicted, the way you'd expect Marine to be considering her age... but naw. Completely inverted. That teasing's just gonna get worse, too~
What can I say? This is haltingly gorgeous, involves a pairing I've always felt was fun, and I completely, absolutely love it. Thank you so much! n_n

I have the same idea that Blaze would be a bit behind her own body, and unequipped to deal with attraction and emotions; With her isolated upbringing, I'd expect her to be on the same maturity level as a kid even at, say, twenty. It gets even more conflicted since the person stirring these feelings in her is at that age you're not a woman, but you're not technically a child, either. (There's woman body starting to form, but it isn't quite there yet, and there's obviously a child's mind at the center of it - but then she blindsides Blaze with having a better grip on what's going on than she does, etc.)
You might remember I like to pair her up with Cream - I imagine that Cream's innocence and Blaze's isolation would result in them sort of meeting halfway, and I frankly see Cream taking all or most of the initiative.
I notice in my pairing ideas that I like age gaps; I like exploring what difference they make and when /how that changes. What makes more difference; your counted years or what you did in those years? If Shadow's technically 70 years old, but spent 50 of them in stasis and only actually interacted with people for 10 or so of those years, and Sonic is 25 and spent all that time out among people, trying relationships out - who of them is "older"?

Blaze and Cream is something I've imagined as well. It's cute for many of the same reasons, but with a much more patient, affectionate tone.

Haha I can totally see images of them now. Gah Nori, like I needed one more pairing to make cute noises in my head. It's getting crowded here! But just, imagine... okay no, I have to draw that. I have one little idea and I gotta at least make a sketch of that.
This has also given me some images of the three of them in that fic thing of mine I'm slowly getting together... I'd like to see how Marine and Cream might interact. I imagine Blaze getting this motley crew of friends in Marine, Big, maybe more people who are patience-trying and /or just outcasts in some way. (Isn't Big looking like he could be the one of Blaze's people?)

I like drawing Blaze markedly skinny, and then I got the idea to go the other way with Marine, give her a bit more of a stout build. I imagine she'd grow to be pretty buff, but with soft female forms, yanno? Would be cute.
