It’s always annoying how people keep insisting—like they just can’t accept that some folks don’t like alcohol. What, why!? It’s what I hear the most, and I guess the social consensus around normalizing alcohol has made it so deeply tied to global culture. Looks like some people can’t have fun without getting drunk.

yeah. i have some people who i would never go out with in person to do stuff because they have flat out admitted they would slip alcohol in my drink to prove that "its no big deal to drink" I want to tell these people "fine, ill have a drink, but you have to do a line of coke first." maybe that would get the message across.
