Parch's journey has been pretty wild so far. From lowly beginnings in the Tube, lost in an ancient ruin, to gaining the favor of a major power and taking the first steps to starting a full fledged war, he's come a long long way from the scared, helpless vee he was. Things have escalated. he's gained the patronage of the god Groudon, his god's brother, and now he and the party seek the aid of not only the other city nations of the wastelands, but as much of the pantheon as they can.
Along the way, Parch has become frustrated with his inabilities, and even more frustrated with his party's apparent lack of faith in them. He wants to be more than a clueless font of Kyogre's power. He wants to be able to fight. more, to be respected, trusted as someone who can make decisions, lead. Taking advantage of his party members' skills, he's learning everything he can. Rem's and Nox's combat prowess. Blayd's and Myth's differing street smarts. Leo's mysticism.
In taking a forward lunge at his own life he found a new path forward. A cunning martial fighter with close ties to his friends. And that was how he became an espeon.
