i wont be doing a valentine card today. i'll probably will be eating massive amounts of ice-cream watching movies on flash servers.

if you ask me... valentine is just a day.... we don't celebrate the miracle of love one day... we celebrate it every day, cause every single moment 7,003,019,800 of persons, 7,003,019,800 of mothers fathers daughters sons uncles pets masters mates bedfellows strangers neighbors and "that boy i met once"s are being loved.... that for... love my friends... love is not a day in a pretty calendar, love is not a number in one paper, love are not chocolates, love is not flowers. love is inside every single one of us, screaming clawing fighting and struggling to get out.

In my experience no-one who doubts themselves should, and the only people who definitely need to change have complete self confidence. The GOP and WBC for example.

Zephie and I aren't buying traditional Valentine gifts for each other today. Instead we're raiding with the guild, watching a movie on Netflix together, and making dinner together. The "going out and doing special things we spend a lot of money on" thing, we did last Saturday, when we had dinner at a restaurant and saw the new James Bond movie. Thus beating the Valentine's crowds, mwahaha!

...But even then, it wasn't something we decided to do for Valentine's. It was just something we wanted to do together. The stuff we're doing for Valentine's is just "Eh, we're staying home anyway, why not use the day as an excuse to do more together than we usually do?"

My mate and I fell in love over 30 years ago, and honestly we never really got into the whole spend a lot of money on a bunch of crap thing. We did and still do buy a card for each other some years. But most of all each and every year we are together on this day, we've both had jobs that we had to work etc. but even with that, and kids, and everything else that life deals to you we have made time on this day for just us if even for just a few hours. So in a way it is a special day to us. But I agree with you Bastion, love is to be shared. My mate and I have been through good times and bad and everything in between. Knowing that I have the love, understanding, affection and support of my loving mate gets me through everything that comes at me everyday and I am so grateful to have her and that she puts up with me.

I have to agree with those words. My mate never forced me to change. He never asked me to change. He loves me for me. Evin if I am a slut lolz. But over the years I grown verry attached to him and don't go out yiffing others as mutch as I used to.
Love should not have any boundries indeed :)
