It's funny how, sometimes, the most innocent things can re-open old wounds. Even though their relationship ended years ago, Tamsin had always carried a bit of a flame for Ciara Lohan. She still had the lock of hair Ciara had given her as a good luck gift when they parted, and all the letters they'd written each other were safely tucked inside her desk. So when she received an invitation to Ciara's wedding it hurt her more than she expected.

Aw, well thank you. I'm glad you like the little story, and especially the art. I know Iko was a bit concerned that she hadn't got it quite right, but I think she did a fantastic job of capturing the emotions behind this little picture. I do feel kind of bad for giving poor Tamsin such a painful moment, but I agree that the picture is incredibly effective in showing how she feels. So thanks!

I agree, it's hard to put a character through something like that. I feel like those instances make the best kinds of characters though. Giving them raw, real emotion really brings them to life. n_n
