Chapter 1
The Overthere was peaceful as always, its clouds glowing gold under the eternal sunlight. Nimbis fluttered lazily between silver gates, their halos gleaming like polished coins. To any mortal, it would seem a paradise.
But to Luvbi?
“Ugh. How dreadfully dull,” she sighed, floating in lazy circles near the edge of a cloud. Her ribbon swished as she spun, eyes half-lidded. “Not a single adventure, not a single Count Bleck or Chaos Heart in sight. What is a Pure Heart princess to do? Waste away in heavenly boredom, that’s what.”
From below, a Nimbi called up to her. “Princess Luvbi, are you not content with the tranquility of the Overthere?”
“Content?” she snapped, puffing up like an offended puffball. “Darling, I am never merely content. I deserve… excitement! Something truly worthy of my brilliance and charm! This peaceful drivel makes me feel—” She paused for a dramatic gasp, “—ordinary!”
The nimbi muttered something about spoiled royalty and fluttered away. Luvbi scoffed. “Hmph. If the lot of you had faced a world-ending catastrophe like I have, you’d understand. One cannot simply float idly among clouds forever. I require—”
She paused mid-sentence, frowning slightly. There was a strange feeling, faint but noticeable. A small pinch of discomfort.
“Hmm.” She shifted in the air. “Odd. I must have… miscalculated my floating posture. Yes, that’s it. Even one as perfect as I can’t stay poised all day without… well, minor adjustments.”
With a quick flip of her ribbon, she shook off the thought. “No, Luvbi, do not dwell on such uncouth sensations. You are divine, darling. Diviiine.”
She zipped upward, ignoring the strange twinge in her core, and resumed her favorite pastime: complaining to anyone who would listen.

Chapter 2
Luvbi floated lazily across a billowy path of clouds, humming a tune that sounded halfway between a lullaby and a complaint. “La-la-laaa, what a tiresome, dull little dayyy… oh, why is eternity so… eternal?”
From somewhere near the golden staircases, a nimbi waved to her. “Princess Luvbi! Queen Jaydes requests—”
“Oh, hush, hush, hush,” Luvbi interrupted with a dismissive flick of her ribbon. “My dear mother is always requesting something, usually that I ‘act like a proper princess.’” She rolled her eyes so hard they might have floated off. “Ugh! As if I’m not already perfection embodied.”
She spun midair, but the motion made her freeze. There it was again. A faint, squirmy feeling deep inside her—a discomfort she didn’t dare name.
Luvbi stiffened. What was that?
She crossed her tiny arms. “No. No, absolutely not. Such… vulgar sensations are for mortals, not a Pure Heart princess such as myself.”
She floated down onto a smaller cloud, frowning as though the world itself had personally offended her. “Perhaps I am simply… hungry. Yes. That must be it. My unparalleled beauty requires sustenance. I shall… hmm… perhaps I could convince the Nimbis to fetch me some of that divine ambrosia.”
But as she moved, the twinge returned, slightly sharper this time.
Her eyes narrowed. What manner of blasphemy is this?
“Luvbi, darling,” she whispered to herself, “get a hold of yourself. You are elegant. You are celestial. You are above all such crude mortal trifles. Yes… above them!”
To prove her point to herself, she zipped toward a passing Nimbi. “You there! Behold my grace! Does this ribbon not shine like the heavens themselves?”
The Nimbi blinked. “...Are you alright, Princess? You look… tense.”
“I am not tense!” she snapped, puffing up like a balloon. “I am as radiant and carefree as a divine breeze!”
Her smile faltered for half a second.
“I… just need to float for a bit.”

Chapter 3
Luvbi zipped down a staircase of glowing clouds, her ribbon fluttering behind her like a banner of frustration. This is absurd, she thought. Absolutely absurd! I, the radiant and flawless Luvbi, should not have to deal with such... such nonsense!
But the twinge had returned. Stronger this time. Insistent.
“Maybe I just need… a moment,” she muttered under her breath, glancing around to make sure no one heard her. “Yes, a private little moment to collect myself. Somewhere… quiet. Somewhere a princess can—”
She stopped mid-thought, her eyes widening as realization hit her.
The Overthere. It was divine. Perfect. Heavenly.
Which meant… there were no mortal conveniences. None.
“NO!” she gasped, her voice echoing through the clouds. A passing Nimbi nearly dropped his harp.
“Princess?” he asked nervously.
“Do not speak to me, winged underling!” she snapped. “Do not look upon me! Do not even breathe in my direction!” She turned her back dramatically. “I am in the throes of a… a… very important royal thought process!”
The Nimbi backed away. Luvbi floated in a tight circle, fuming.
What am I to do? she thought. There are no restrooms. No private corners. This is the Overthere, where everyone floats about like nosy little cherubs with nothing better to do!
She gritted her teeth. “No. No, I refuse. I will not degrade myself with such… mortal concerns. I am Luvbi, the Pure Heart princess! I have defeated chaos itself! Surely I can conquer… this.”
The twinge pulsed again, sharper than before. She winced. “...Oh, dear stars.”

Chapter 4
Luvbi zipped aimlessly through the clouded courtyards of the Overthere, her ribbon flaring like a little red warning flag. She told herself she was fine—perfectly fine—but her frantic movements betrayed her.
“I am not… uncomfortable,” she muttered to herself, floating in sharp little zigzags. “I am simply… restless! Yes, restless! A radiant creature such as myself cannot be expected to remain still for too long, after all.”
She stopped abruptly, pressing her tiny hands against her sides with an uncharacteristic grimace. “Ooooh stars… perhaps I… should have eaten less cloudberry nectar this morning…”
A pair of Nimbis flew by, whispering to each other.
“Is the princess… alright?” one murmured.
“She’s… pacing in midair,” the other replied.
Luvbi whirled on them. “Pacing? Pacing?! I am floating with purpose, thank you! What do you two simpletons know of royal movement? I—” She broke off mid-sentence with a sharp inhale, her posture stiffening.
This is getting worse.
Luvbi shot upward, flying behind a tall golden column. She glanced left, right—no one was watching. Good. She wriggled in place, her tiny frame twisting with impatience. “Ugh! This is so undignified! What if someone sees me like this? A princess… a princess! I cannot—”
“Princess Luvbi?”
She jumped as if struck by lightning. A Nimbi peeked around the column, blinking innocently.
Luvbi’s face burned crimson. “D-DO NOT SNEAK UP ON ME, YOU INFERIOR CLOUD-DWELLER!” she shrieked, trying to hide her embarrassment. “I was merely… stretching. Royal stretches. Vital for maintaining one’s… one’s beauty!”
The Nimbi tilted his head. “Are you sure you’re—”
“BEGONE!” she screamed, pointing dramatically toward the horizon. The poor angel flinched and flew away without another word.
Luvbi groaned, floating lower to the clouds. “This cannot go on… but what am I supposed to do?”

Chapter 5
Luvbi zipped through the Overthere like a frantic firefly, her ribbon twisting and flaring with every sharp turn. Each passing moment, the pressure in her tiny, heavenly body grew harder to ignore.
“This is unacceptable!” she hissed to herself. “I am a princess, a divine being! Such indignities are for mortals! Not for me, never for me!”
She floated down onto a lone puffy cloud, bouncing once like a nervous spring. Her tiny legs wiggled unconsciously as she sat, muttering.
“Think, Luvbi, think! There must be some… elegant solution! Something subtle, graceful, and… ohhh, who am I kidding? This is a disaster!”
A Nimbi passed overhead, waving. “Good day, Princess!”
Luvbi plastered on the fakest smile imaginable, her body stiff as a star rod. “Yes, yes, glorious day, go away now!” she squeaked, her voice trembling.
As soon as they were gone, she darted behind a small archway, biting her lip. “No one must know… no one must ever know of my suffering. If Queen Jaydes found out… ooooh, she’d never let me hear the end of it!”
She pressed her hands against her sides, wiggling from side to side. “Ugh! Curse this mortal-esque body! Why must I even— I mean, this is so undignified, so horribly, tragically…”
She paused, panting lightly. “...Maybe I could just… ask for help?”
The thought made her shiver with shame.
“NO! No, no, NO!” she shouted to herself, stamping the cloud with her tiny foot. “I, Princess Luvbi, shall never lower myself to beg for assistance with… this! I would rather… rather… oh stars, what would I rather do?”
She flopped face-first into the cloud, groaning like a diva. “This is the worst day in all of heavenly history…”

Chapter 6
Luvbi’s ribbon quivered like a distressed flag as she zipped frantically around a row of shimmering pillars. Her tiny feet tapped against the clouds in quick, anxious bursts, and her usual confident poise was gone.
“This is unbearable!” she cried, gripping her sides. “How much longer can a princess be expected to endure such heinous torture?!”
She stopped midair and squeezed her eyes shut, teeth clenched. “No. No, I must remain graceful. Regal. A princess does not wriggle, a princess does not… fidget…” She paused, realizing she was doing exactly that. “…Ugh!”
A familiar voice floated toward her.
“Luvbi? Are you… all right?”
Luvbi spun around, startled to find one of the Overthere’s Nimbis hovering a few feet away. She tried to compose herself, standing tall—well, as tall as a floating heart could.
“All right? I am radiant, as always! Why would you even ask such a foolish thing?”
“Because you’re, uh… glowing more than usual? And you’re kind of… twitching,” the Nimbi said carefully.
Luvbi’s face flushed bright red. “TWITCHING?! How dare you suggest such a thing! I am the epitome of poise and beauty!”
The Nimbi raised an eyebrow. “You’re… sure about that?”
“YES, I’M SURE!” she shrieked, her voice cracking. The Nimbi recoiled slightly, and Luvbi immediately covered her face with her ribbon. “Oh, stars above, what is happening to me?! I can’t… I can’t let anyone see me like this!”
She darted behind a cloud column, breathing hard. Her thoughts spun out of control. Maybe I should just tell someone. Maybe I could… no, no, absolutely not! They’d never take me seriously again! I’d be a laughingstock!
She began to panic on the inside. “There must be a way out of this! There simply must!”
Her gaze shifted toward the distant gates of the Overthere, where mortals sometimes wandered when they were brought up from the Underwhere.
“…Wait. Mortals. Maybe they know of some solution… even if it’s… crude.”

Chapter 7
Luvbi hovered in place, fidgeting with the edge of her ribbon like a stormcloud ready to burst.
This is no way for a princess to live… No way for a divine being to… to… suffer like this!
She tapped her foot furiously on the cloud. Perhaps I must seek out the help of a mortal. Yes. Mortals are disgusting and crude, but… they have experience with such vulgar needs. Ugh! Even saying that makes me feel filthy!
Her pride screamed at the very thought, but the pressure building inside her screamed louder.
Luvbi zipped toward the Overthere gates, where a lone mortal soul—clearly a lost traveler—stood gawking at the scenery. Perfect. Well, not perfect, but the best she was going to get.
“Hey, you there!” she barked, floating aggressively into the traveler’s face. “Yes, you with the muddy mortal shoes! I require your… expertise!”
The traveler blinked. “Uh… w-wait, aren’t you that… floating heart thing?”
“THING?!” Luvbi screeched, her voice ringing like a bell. “I am Luvbi, princess of the Pure Hearts, glorious daughter of Grambi, and a beacon of beauty, brilliance, and grace! You will speak to me with reverence, you repugnant ground-walker!”
The traveler took a cautious step back. “…Right. Okay. So, uh… what do you need?”
Luvbi hesitated, her pride catching in her throat like a stubborn bone.
“I… I… require assistance with a matter of… utmost urgency!”
The mortal raised an eyebrow. “What kind of… matter?”
Luvbi’s face turned a bright shade of pink. “That is none of your concern! I… simply need to know if… you mortals have some kind of… method… for… relieving—”
She cut herself off with a gasp, clutching her ribbon. “Oh stars, I cannot even say it!”
The mortal stared at her, confused. “…You mean like, a bathroom?”
“DO NOT UTTER THAT VULGAR WORD IN MY PRESENCE!” she shrieked, spinning away like a tiny, furious comet. “Ugh! This is impossible! Mortals are too crude, I am too divine, and this day is RUINED!”

Chapter 8
Luvbi shot away from the mortal traveler, her ribbon whipping furiously in the air. “A bathroom?! What an utterly revolting term! And yet…” she winced, clutching her sides, “…I… need one!”
The realization hit her like a lightning bolt from above. She stopped midair, trembling. “This is it. This is how I fall. Not to Count Bleck, not to some villain’s dastardly plot, but to… to… nature!” She buried her face in her ribbon, groaning. “Ohhh, the indignity!”
A Nimbi fluttered by, humming a tune. Luvbi shot him a wild-eyed glare. “YOU!” she barked.
“P-Princess?” he squeaked, startled.
“You angels float here all day doing nothing!” she yelled, pointing an accusing finger. “Has not one of you ever thought to create some sort of… some sort of… facility?!”
The Nimbi blinked. “Uh… facility for what?”
“For… for…” She bit her lip, her voice dropping to a scandalized whisper. “…mortal needs.”
The Nimbi turned bright red, stammering. “W-we don’t… uh, we’re angels, Princess… we don’t exactly do that.”
“OF COURSE YOU DON’T!” Luvbi shrieked, flailing her tiny arms. “Of course this is a perfect, flawless, utterly unprepared realm for any actual problems!” She grabbed her head dramatically. “What is a princess to do? I cannot suffer like this! I’ll… I’ll…”
Her eyes went wide. Oh stars, I might cry.
“No. No, no, no.” She shook herself, forcing on a trembling smile. “I am regal. I am composed. I… I am going to find a solution. Myself. Yes! I, Princess Luvbi, will overcome this ordeal with my dignity intact!”
The Nimbi cautiously asked, “Uh… and how exactly are you planning to do that?”
Luvbi froze. “…I have absolutely no idea,” she admitted in a whisper. Then, louder, “BUT I SHALL FIGURE IT OUT!” She zipped off, leaving the baffled Nimbi in her wake.

Chapter 9
Luvbi was unraveling.
She darted through the Overthere like a frantic ribbon caught in a storm, her usual grace replaced with jittery, desperate jerks. “This is… impossible!” she wailed, gripping her sides. “I cannot hold out much longer! A princess cannot be expected to endure such… mortal suffering!”
A group of Nimbis stared as she whirled past, muttering under her breath.
“Princess Luvbi… is she—”
“—acting stranger than usual?”
“—I think she’s about to explode.”
“DO NOT SPEAK OF ME!” Luvbi barked, her eyes wide. “I am perfectly—ah!—perfectly fine!” She floated backward, accidentally bumping into a harp, which let out a sad, off-key note. “See? Fine! Beautiful! Graceful as ever!”
Then, under her breath, she hissed: “I’m not fine. I’m NOT fine. Stars above, I’m going to—” She cut herself off, pressing her hands over her face. “No. No! I will not fail. I am Luvbi. I am divine. I will endure this… somehow…”
She zipped behind a lone cloud pillar, hyperventilating. Her ribbon drooped. “Okay, okay… think. THINK. If I don’t… find a solution soon, I’ll…” She shuddered, unable to finish the sentence.
Her pride, once unshakable, was crumbling like a cookie.
“I can’t do this anymore,” she whispered to herself. “I… I might even… ask for help.” Her face flushed at the thought. “No! No, no, no, that would be the ultimate humiliation!”
Then she paused. Her tiny eyes widened. “…Unless… unless I make my own solution. Something ingenious! Something worthy of a princess of the Pure Hearts!”
She floated up, her trembling frame stiffening with false confidence. “Yes… yes! I will improvise if I must. No one will know. No one will ever know…”
But deep down, she also felt the gnawing fear: if she failed… it would be the end of her royal dignity forever.

Ending 1
Luvbi hovered high above the Overthere, her face twisted in concentration. “Think, Luvbi, THINK! You are divine. You are creative. You are… desperate!”
She scanned the fluffy white landscape below. Clouds as far as the eye could see, golden pillars, angelic gates… and no mortal solutions in sight.
Then, an idea struck her—ridiculous, undignified, but still an idea.
Her eyes lit up. “...What if… I create a royal chamber of my own?”
She zoomed toward a large, plush-looking cloud and began shaping it with wild determination. She puffed it up here, flattened it there, until it resembled a bizarre throne of sorts. “Yes! This shall be my… my divine sanctuary! None shall question me!”
The Nimbis watched from a distance, whispering nervously.
“Is she… building a chair?”
“...A throne, maybe? She looks serious.”
Luvbi turned on them with fire in her eyes. “BEHOLD! The throne of Princess Luvbi! You shall look away now, for I am about to… uh… conduct royal matters!”
The Nimbis blinked. “…Royal matters?”
“Yes! Very important royal matters that only I can attend to!” she snapped, shooing them with frantic gestures. “Away with you! Do not question the brilliance of your princess!”
They awkwardly drifted away.
Luvbi landed delicately on the cloud-throne, muttering, “This is undignified… but also… genius. Yes, I will simply tell everyone this was a… meditation ritual. A princess must maintain appearances!”
A few moments later, she floated back up, ribbon flaring triumphantly. “Aha! It is done! Crisis… averted! And none shall ever know!”
The Nimbis stared. “…What exactly was that ritual?”
Luvbi smirked. “A royal secret, darlings. But know this: your princess is victorious, as always.”
She floated away, humming to herself, her pride fully restored.

Ending 2
Luvbi floated behind a cloud pillar, trembling like a leaf in a storm. “I… I can’t do this anymore,” she whispered, panic creeping into her voice. “This is worse than Count Bleck, worse than anything I’ve ever faced!”
She peeked out, scanning the open skies. Nimbis were everywhere, going about their business. "I can’t let them see me like this!" she thought, fidgeting uncontrollably. "I’m a princess! A Pure Heart! I… I—oh stars, I can’t…"
She zipped down to the lower clouds, muttering frantic prayers to herself. “Hold it together, Luvbi… hold it together! You’re divine! You’re—ah!—you’re… oh no…”
Her ribbon was twitching so much it looked like it was about to tie itself in knots. She clenched her tiny fists. "I’ll just find a quiet spot. Yes, that’s it. I’ll… improvise. No one will ever know. I can do this… I can—"
“Princess Luvbi!”
The sudden voice made her shriek so loudly, every Nimbi in the Overthere turned to look. A pair of Nimbis hovered near her, holding a tray of nectar.
“I—uh—uh—DON’T LOOK AT ME!” she shouted, spinning around in panic. “I’m… busy! VERY busy! Doing royal—AAH!”
And then it happened.
The moment she feared.
Her face went bright red. Her body froze. A horrible realization washed over her.
No… no, no, noooooo…
A heavy silence fell over the clouds. Every Nimbi stared.
Luvbi slowly turned around, her face contorting in pure, horrified disbelief. “No,” she whispered. “This… did not happen. It did not happen! Forget what you saw! Forget EVERYTHING!”
One of the Nimbis coughed awkwardly. “…Princess, are you—”
“NO! I AM NOT OKAY!” she screamed, spinning wildly, her ribbon flailing. “This is the WORST DAY in all of heavenly history! I— I DEMAND that none of you ever speak of this! EVER! If anyone tells my mother, I swear I will— I will— AAAAAH!”
She zipped away, trailing pure humiliation behind her like a comet tail.

Epilogue
The whispers spread fast. By the time Luvbi slunk back to the palace—her ribbon drooping like a wilted flower—Queen Jaydes was already waiting, arms crossed, her icy gaze fixed on her daughter.
“...Do I even want to know what I’ve been hearing?” Jaydes asked, her voice cool and cutting.
Luvbi flinched. “M-Mother, you mustn’t believe those vile lies! I—I was merely conducting an advanced princess ritual, and—”
“Oh, I bet you were,” Jaydes interrupted, one eyebrow raised. “You screamed loud enough for half the Overthere to hear. ‘Worst day in heavenly history,’ I believe were your words?”
Luvbi groaned and buried her face in her ribbon. “Mother, please! Must you mock me in my hour of despair?”
Jaydes smirked. “Mock you? Darling, I’m commending you. It takes true talent to turn something so… mortal… into the talk of the entire Overthere. I’ll be hearing about this for centuries.”
“MOTHER!” Luvbi wailed, spinning in frustrated little circles. “This is the single greatest humiliation in my glorious existence! I forbid anyone from mentioning it again! Ever! I shall erase it from memory!”
Jaydes tilted her head, amused. “Good luck with that, princess. Even Grambi’s been chuckling about it.”
“NOOOO!” Luvbi shrieked, collapsing face-first into a cloud. “I SHALL NEVER RECOVER FROM THIS!”

Quick commentary before you begin:
This is not perfectly accurate. There is a restroom in the Overthere, but I forgot when I wrote this story.
I didn't make an epilogue for the first ending, and I don't plan to.
Any other questions will be answered via comments.

Also, If anyone can animate/make a comic for this story, DM me and we'll talk pricing.
