so, dave's parents sticked to what they said; they moved to the town near the vacation place. confirmed.

they moved on a saturday, and next day's morning something is preventing (for now) jay and dave from spending the day together.

said something,
[speculation mode start] appears to be way less important to what mia (the rabbit) and her family had to endure.

dave and mia had to go on a bus, this is a small town, they can also meet again
