For at least seven years, I have been experiencing a set of symptoms that were initially intermittent but have since become constant.
Aching pain throughout my body, migraines, stiffness in my shoulders, nausea, sensitivity to light and noise, muscle weakness, lymphocytomas, brain fog, and a host of other very minor symptoms that could easily be dismissed as “Well, that's just how I am.”
In general, this feeling is often compared to a hangover, but for me it is constant.
A couple of months ago, I started to think that it might be Lyme disease. This is a condition that occurs after a tick (or nymph) bite, which is accompanied by fever in the first stage and inflammation of the brain in the third stage.
It fit my symptoms very well, but I didn't remember being bitten by a tick at all.
It turned out that the bite could have gone unnoticed, and there might not have been any erythema either.
Almost no one believed my guesses, saying that if I didn't remember being bitten, then it wasn't that and I should just worry less.
But in the end, I was able to get tested, and it turned out that I really did have Lyme disease.
And it wasn't in stage 1 or 2, but already in stage 3.
My fear of light and noise indicates that I already have brain inflammation.
So, what happened? I found a doctor and am now getting intravenous antibiotics. I've had 5 out of 10 IVs. And then we'll think about what to do next...
Take care of yourselves, my friends
