Simba was feeling antsy. His father had just ran off to deal with some hyenas in the pride lands. The young lion had wanted to go too but he wasn’t allowed. Now he was sulking as Zazu led him home.

“Oh, cheer up, young master,” said Zazu, “My family has been advisers to the royal bloodline for generations. I can tell you for certain that none of your ancestors have started dealing with hyenas at your age. I remember the story my grandfather told me about the youngest prince to have tried it. Still older than you, mind you. They say that he…”

Simba had long-stopped listening to Zazu. He normally loved to hear stories about the past kings and princes from his dad. When Zazu told stories, it was much more… the word was mechanical but Simba didn’t know how to put it.

What Simba took away from Zazu’s story was that he was “too young” to make his mark on the pride lands. “I’ll show him too young,” he thought, “I can do anything.”

To prove it, especially to himself, he looked around hoping to find an opportunity. The plain they were passing through was surprisingly void of other animals. Almost as if something was keeping them away.

Then he saw it. A strange, light blue ball sitting not too far away. Zazu was so caught up in his story, which had someone devolved into diplomatic meetings his family had engaged in, that he wasn’t paying attention to Simba.

The mischievous feline took the opportunity to slink away and investigate the ball. Other animals might be avoiding it, he assumed, but not him.

As he got closer, it slowly dawned on him that he really didn’t know how to investigate it. He looked it over, curiously.

“Hello?” he asked.

He tried pawing it. It was cold and hard but too smooth for it to be a normal rock. What’s more, it was surprisingly heavy and didn’t move. He tried to push it with more force and it still wouldn’t budge.

Simba was trying to think what else he could do with it. Then it came to him. He took a breath and roared at it. Well, it was more like a meow, in Simba’s case.

That did it. Something that looked like a long shiny stick popped out of the top of the ball. Simba was surprised and jumped backwards. When nothing else happened, he curiously walked up and flicked the stick. It was just as solid as the ball.

“Ha!,” thought Simba, “I knew my roar was more than… than…” He couldn’t really think of a way to describe it. “Well, it did that. Hm,” he pondered, “What if I roared at it again?”

And so he did. Nothing seemed to happen. There was a slight buzzing but to Simba, it just sounded like a passing bug. Simba tried roaring at it again. And again. And again.

The wind picked up and a shadow hovered over him and the surrounding land. Thinking a cloud had floated in front of the sun, Simba turned to go. “That thing’s not doing anything anyway.”

As he turned, he looked up to glimpse at the cloud overhead. His maw dropped in shock. That was no cloud. A giant round thing with a green dome on the bottom was floating just above him. Simba had barely let out a scream when he, as well as the ball, were sucked into the dome. Then the big round thing flew off into the sky.

Inside the flying saucer, Simba was suspended in mid-air, held in place by energy balls. Not that Simba would’ve moved anyway, he was stunned and scared in place.

“Feline abducted,” came a robotic voice, “Begin Operation: Ultimate Life Form.”

“Wait, what?” said Simba impulsively. As he tried to process what he had heard, the ball came down from the ceiling, sprouted a zapper ray and, well, zapped him. He was shocked in every sense of the word.

Almost immediately, a pair of antlers sprouted from his head. His claws unsheathed and came together to form four hooves at the end of his now long stick legs.

His tail became much shorter and sort of resembled a tuft at the end of a lion’s tail, only bigger.

With that, Simba had been transformed into a deer. He was stunned to have been turned into something else. The robotic words were still ringing in his head. “Ultimate Life Form.” Then a thought struck him. Was that what they were turning him into? He had to admit that he liked the sound of that.

With some amount of enthusiasm, Simba looked over himself. As he looked over his new deer body, he was confused. “Wait,” he thought aloud, “this is the ultimate life form thing?”

“Negative,” came the robotic voice. Before he could react, Simba was zapped again.

Simba grew in size. Much bigger than before. His fur grew in kind, becoming very woolly. His legs became bulker than ever to the point they were just large cylinders with barely discernable feet. His tail was at least more lion-like with it being ropy with a tuft at the end but not as long as a lion tail.

What was a surprise was that his muzzle grew bigger and longer. Much, much longer. Although he still had a lion nose at the end, he now had an elephant trunk. Or perhaps “woolly mammoth trunk” would be more accurate.

“Still negative,” groaned the robotic voice.

Simba was shocked. These guys were as stubborn as him!  “How is this not ultimate?!” he exclaimed. He was so frustrated, he trumpeted loudly with his trunk. It took him by surprise.

Nevertheless, after a brief pause, Simba was zapped again. There seemed to be more oomph in it this time. His truck receded and he was back to having a normal lion head again. The same couldn’t be said for the rest of him. His woolly fur had shorted again and better resembled lion fur, some of which going along his back stood on-end and turned into spikes. The went all the way down his back and along his tail which became fuller, thicker and longer with a lion-like tuft of fur at the end. His legs became a bit more flexible than the cylinders they were before and with actually discernible paws at the end. Each of his toes had big claws at the end of them.

Simba had been turned into a lion-headed dinosaur. “Whoah!” he exclaimed as looked himself over. “I see what you guys meant by ‘ultimate.’” He was particularly impressed with his claws.

But it wasn’t over yet. His body swelled to a big size and it wasn’t long before the rest of him grew to match. And he just kept growing bigger and bigger and bigger. He was quickly filling up the space he was in. “Um, okay. I think I’m big enough now,” he said. There was no response. “Seriously, I’m starting to feel cramped.”

He was getting anxious but then the robotic voice returned. “Transformation complete. Proceed to the field test.” With that, Simba was zapped one last time and this time was sent somewhere else.

With a flash, Simba was back in the plains where he had first been abducted, still his giant leo-saurus self. Well, slightly above the plain, really. He landed on the ground with an earth-shaking thud! On top of trying to take in everything that just happened to him, he realized that he was still growing too.

Meanwhile, Zazu was flying around looking for Simba. “Simba?! Young master, where did you go?!” Suddenly, he heard a loud thud. He looked all around him in surprise. “Huh?! What was that?” He was so distracted that he didn’t realize he was flying straight into the body of a leo-saurus. Not until he hit it, anyway. “Ack!”

Simba barely still felt it. “Huh? Did something hit me?”

“Yes, that was me,” said Zazu as he brushed himself off, “Now what were… you… doing…?” He trailed off as realization struck him. Before him was Simba turned into, as he could describe it in the moment, a giant lion-lizard thing. Not that he would describe what he was seeing, for he promptly fainted.

“Zazu?” said Simba, a little concerned, “Zazu, are you okay?” He waved a giant paw paw over him. The hornbill babbled incoherently. “Eh, he’ll be fine,” he decided, “I guess I’d better head home now.”

He didn’t know what else to do so that’s precisely what he did. Simba expected his new body to be sluggish with how big it was. While he did have a lot more mass to move, he found it relatively okay to move around. There were a few stumbles as he got used to new legs but his new big tail helped counterbalance him. It got easier the more he moved.

What animals he did encounter on his way, understandably, ran away from him. Simba couldn’t help but feel a little smug. “They know not to mess with me!”

Nala was waiting at pride rock for Simba to return. She was sitting at the end of the outcropping looking out over the savannah. Then, she thought he heard several dull booms, like something big was approaching.

Then, the booms stopped and she heard a familiar voice from behind her.”Hi Nala.”

“Oh, Simba,” she said and spun around to face her friend. “Did you hear those-?” She stopped dead when she saw that her friend was a leo-sauras now. Simba was so huge that he could rest his head on the outcropping flat-footed and on all-fours.

“S-Simba?!” asked Nala, taken aback.

“Yeah, I know!” he replied, “Cool, huh? What do you think?”

“Wow!” It was all that Nala could say at that moment.

“Simba?!” came another voice, Simba groaned. He wasn’t looking forward to what his father had to say. Mufasa ran up beside Nala to face his son.

“Uh, heh heh. Hi Dad,” he said, trying to look as innocent as possible, “How did you know I was here?”

“You’re hard to miss looking like that,” Mufasa explained. Simba blushed. “As soon as I recognized the giant creature as you, I came running. Now, what on Earth happened to you?!”

“I’d like to know myself,” said Nala, who was coming down from her shock.

“Well,” said Simba, “I don’t know if it was even on Earth.” And he told them what had happened.

“Ultimate Creature, huh?” asked Mufasa when Simba had finished.

“They certainly had an interesting choice for it,” muttered Nala. Simba scowled and Mufasa glared too, as if to say “Not now.”

The whole thing sounded far-fetched to the king. Then again he was looking up at his huge, leo-saurus son. “Even so,” he continued, “it’s getting late now. We’ll deal with this tomorrow.”

“‘Deal with’?” asked Simba.

“Tomorrow, I’ll get Rafiki to turn you back.”

“Turn me back?” asked Simba, “But Dad I’m supposed to me the ultimate-”

“Simba, you’re very lucky you haven’t destroyed anything, at your great size,” Mufasa said firmly, “It’s too much, too fast. It’ll be better if you were turned back to normal.”

Simba sulked. “Fine.” He complied with his father but he wasn’t happy about it.

“Good, that’s settled. Now, just try and get some sleep.”

Simba looked towards the den entrance. “Um… where? I can’t exactly fit in the den anymore.”

“Ah, right…” Mufasa pondered for a moment. “I suppose you’ll have to sleep behind pride rock.” Simba sulked again. “Don’t worry, Simba. There’s no sign of rain and I’m sure no one will try anything with you. That’s one advantage of being that big.”

With that, he bid his son good night and disappeared into the den. Simba still stayed sulky. “It’s not the only advantage,” he grumbled.

“I can certainly think of one,” said Nala, “Could you lower your head?” Simba did so and Nala climbed on to it and over his body. Then she slid down the other side and down Simba’s tail.

“Hey! I’m not a slide!” exclaimed Simba. Nala only giggled.

But Mufasa wasn’t the only one to have noticed Simba’s transformation (To be fair, a lot of animals did).

“Evening, Scar,” said Mufasa as he entered the den.

“Evening,” Scar replied in his deep voice. He had been resting and was disturbed by Simba’s booming approach too. When he went to see what was going on, he was stunned by Simba’s appearance too. Although, he stayed quiet and watched the whole interaction between Simba, Nala and Mufasa. Simba’s current circumstances would complicate his plans to seize the kingdom for his own. He decided to speak with the hyenas the next day. He had a feeling that Simba wouldn’t shrink so easily.

Simba woke up the next morning feeling grumpy. He was supposed to stay at pride rock while Mufasa went to get Rafiki. It wasn’t long before he started to feel bored.

“It’s not fair,” he grumbled to himself, “I bet I could do a lot like this, if I had the chance.”

All he could do was animal-watch. His field of vision was much greater now. He spotted some elephants that were so much smaller compared to him. There were also the typical antelopes and zebras and the hyenas sneaking their way into the pride lands.

“Wait, what?!” Simba did a double-take and indeed spotted three hyenas creeping into the pride lands. “No! Where’s Dad when you need him?! He should-!’ Then he stopped and thought about it. “Wait a minute, I’m huge.” He took a good look at Pride Rock and its not-as-dominating appearance. “And I’m going to do at least one cool thing while I am!”

“Are you sure it’s a good idea to meet up with Scar here?” asked Banzai.

“I know for a fact you’re as fed up as me,” said Shenzi, “We have an in with the royal family and I want my cut.” Ed cackled in agreement.

Banzai found his courage. “You’re right. So long as we stay out of sight of those other lions, we should be-” he was cut off by a loud boom. “Hey, is it supposed to rain today?”

“Don’t be stupid,” said Shenzi, “Does it look like it’s going to rain?”

The boom came again and again. “Then what do you suppose that is?” Banzai looked towards Pride Rock. “Oh, it’s a giant lion-lizard thing coming straight for us.”

“Ah, right of course.” There was a brief pause between the three. “Say, fellas,” Shenzi said at last.”

“Yeah?” asked Banzai. Ed grunted curiously.

“I don’t know about you but I think it’s best we… RUN!” With that, Shenzi made a break for the elephant grave yard. The other two followed close behind.

Despite their best efforts, they couldn’t outpace Simba’s big strides. He didn’t even have to go very fast. In one fell swoop, he scooped up the hyenas and brought them in front of his face.

“Uh, heheheh. Hi, big guy.” Shenzi was trying not to show how afraid she was. “You’re Mufasa’s kid, aren’t you?” Simba snorted.

“So much for our ‘in,’” muttered Banzai. That earned him a slap on the back of the head.

“And what are you doing here?” asked Simba, “You weren’t thinking of disrupting my home, were you?”

“What? Is that what you think? No!” Shenzi lied, “We were just, uh…”

“Going for a walk?” suggested Banzai and Ed nodded vigorously in agreement.

Simba glared at them. “Well then, you can walk right back to where you came from.”

“Simba, what are you doing?” came a voice.

“I’m just making sure these three-” Simba froze when he realized who’s voice it was.

Mufasa walked up in front of his son, followed by Rafiki. The lion looked stern while the mandrill was in awe of Simba’s sheer size.

“Well, Simba,” Mufasa probed, “You were making sure those three what?”

Simba hesitated before explaining. “I saw these three hyenas entering the pride lands and I didn’t want to just let them do who-knows-what and I really wanted to do something cool while I was still big like this and I just thought that, maybe, stopping them could be that something.” He showed them the three hyenas. Shenzi did nothing, Benzai waved meekly while Ed waved with genuine enthusiasm.

Mufasa pondered. “Well, Simba,” he said. Simba braced himself for the worst. “I’m impressed with your initiative and I will admit, your current form was helpful in apprehending these three.” Simba was surprised to hear that but flattered. He began to feel smug. “However,” his father continued, “you’ve done your ‘something cool’, now it’s time for you to return to normal.” Simba deflated hearing that but reluctantly accepted. Mufasa turned to the mandrill and nodded. “Rafiki.”

But Rafiki just stood there, looking up at the giant leo-saurus. At last, he spoke. “Your majesty, it is my understanding that you want me to turn Simba back into his original lion self.”

“That’s the idea, yes.”

“Ah, yes. Of course. ARE YOU CRAZY?!” Rafiki burst out, “I cannot do anything to a creature that size! I am just one old mandrill.” Simba and Mufasa stared. “You must either find a different way to turn him back or find him a new place in the kingdom as is.”

This was a lot to take in. Simba a leo-saurus forever? Mufasa was deep in thought for some time.

“Dad?” asked Simba.

“We will take this as slowly as possible,” the king said at last, “For now, just hand the hyenas over to me. I’ll make sure they leave.”

“Come on, Dad. Can’t I come? They won’t try anything if both of us bring them back.”

Mufasa took a deep breath and considered everything. “Very well, Simba but please, be very careful. You’re still not the most experienced with such a big body.”

“Yes, Dad, of course,” said Simba, a little hint of sarcasm in his voice.

The two royals bid Rafiki farewell and headed for the elephant graveyard. Rafiki smiled to himself. “Perhaps not as slowly as you thought, your majesty.”

Simba and Mufasa made light work of their escort mission. The hyenas didn’t even make any smart remarks, lest Simba step on them. At last, they reached the border where the pride lands ended.

“Now go,” ordered Mufasa, “and I hope you think twice about entering my kingdom again.”

The hyenas nodded and scurried away. Once they were out of sight, Mufasa sighed heavily.

“That’s the eighth time this moon cycle,” he lamented, “Sometimes I think they’d be less of a  hassle if they were a part of my kingdom. They’d at least be easier to keep an eye on.”

Simba looked at his father then at the shadowy place before them. “Everything the light touches…”

Little did any of them know that Scar was waiting in the shadows of the elephant graveyard for the hyenas. He was not happy. “Where are those idiots?” he growled.

As if on cue, “those idiots” appeared. “Um, hi boss…” said Shenzi and Banzai. Ed laughed nervously.

“And just where have you three been?!” demanded Scar.

“We were-”

“I’ll tell you where you were! You were away from your post! If you want this partnership to work and if you want to eat, you must follow my every order. No improvisation!”

“Boss-”

“And that’s another thing, I made the special journey early this morning because I have a very important matter to discuss with you! You wasted my efforts and for what? A fruitless venture into Mufasa’s territory.”

“But boss, we have something important to tell you too!”

“Is it more important than-?” Scar was interrupted by a sudden loud rumbling noise from above. The whole land around them shook. “A landslide?!” he exclaimed. He and the hyenas tried to hide behind some bones but couldn’t find their footing. Direct sunline shown upon them as a huge chunk of the mountain slipped away by Simba’s might.

“There!” said the leo-saurus, “That should shed some light on this place.”

Mufasa’s jaw dropped. Secretly, he was very impressed. He quickly composed himself. “Simba,” he said in his ever-firm tone, “despite that feat of strength. You shouldn’t just move a mountain like that. What are we supposed to do with all this earth?” Simba didn’t respond for a moment. “Simba, I’m talking to you.”

“Dad,” said Simba, “Uncle Scar’s here with the hyenas.”

“What did you say?”

“Yeah, he’s here.” Mufasa climbed up, what was now, a little more than a hill and looked into the new extension of the pride lands. Simba was right, there was his brother.

“Hi, Uncle Scar,” said Simba brightly. Mufasa didn’t look as cheerful

Scar and the hyenas were stunned by what had just happened. Scar composed himself. “Hello Simba. Mufasa,” he managed to squeak, “Lovely morning, isn’t it?”

Banzai’s brain was so frazzled that words started to spill out. “See, boss, that’s what we had to tell you about.”

Simba’s attention turned to him. “Wait, boss?”

Shenzi quickly covered Banzai’s mouth. “Shut it, stupid! Do you want the king and his ginormous son to know that we’re in cahoots with Scar so that he can overthrow them?!” Banzai quickly covered her mouth. She realized what she said. Both looked over to Scar and he was furious.

“You idiots!” he roared.

Mufasa slid down the slope and came face-to-face with his brother. “Scar, is that true?”

“Mufasa,” said Scar, trying to sound as suave as possible, “you can’t trust the word of a hyena.” The hyenas gaped. “These three are trying to cause unrest and distrust amongst the royal family.” He turned to them and winked.

The hyenas didn’t say a word. They just stared blankly. At last, Ed shook his head vigorously. Mufasa raised an eyebrow. He was no fool.

Scar snarled but before he could defend himself, the sound of Zazu’s voice echoed all around.

“Sire!” The hornbill flew down towards him, past what he thought was just a mountain but turned out to be Siimba. He felt woozy again. “No, no. I’m not going to faint, this time,” he promised himself. He touched down and faced the king.

“Zazu, can’t this wait?”

“I’m afraid not, Sire. A few large sink holes have formed, cutting off major thoroughfares in the pride lands. Traveling herds have been disrupted and some have been cut off from the water holes.”

Mufasa was torn. This did sound serious and he knew he shouldn’t leave Scar on his own for more than necessary. “We’ll take care of this as soon as we can, Zazu,” he said. “For now, please go get reinforcements. We may be dealing with treason here.”

“Treason?” asked Zazu. He read the room for the first time and saw Scar glaring at him. “Ah, yes, of course!” He flew off without another word.

Simba had remained silent. He felt hurt by the idea of his uncle betraying him so he focused on the sinkhole problem instead. Then, he had an idea. “Hey Dad! I think I know what we can do with all this earth!”

With Zazu flying ahead to warn animals to get out of the way, Simba shifted the mound of earth to fill in the sinkholes.

The filled-in holes weren’t exactly pretty but it did the job. The animals were grateful, in any case (not that they would try to upset a giant leo-saurus).

“Okay,” said Simba once the last sinkhole was filled in, “That’s that!”

“I must say, young master,” said Zazu, “I had my doubts but I am quite impressed with you.”

Simba was surprised. Zazu giving him a compliment said a lot.

“Now, let’s go let your father know and he can tell us what he plans to do with your uncle.”

Simba winced. “Zazu, could you do that by yourself?”

“Now, Simba, you might be big but you’re still young. You shouldn’t be left alone.”

“I don’t think anyone is going to attack me. Besides, I don’t want to deal with Uncle Scar.”

Zazu could sense that Simba was being genuine. “Fine. Just this once, I’ll leave you by yourself. Just try not to wander too far.” He began to fly away. “I’ll be back with your father soon.”

With that, Simba was left alone with his thoughts. He thought about his dad, he thought about his new form, he thought about the aliens that made him this way. He was trying to think of anything except for Scar.

He wouldn’t have to try hard. “Simba!” exclaimed Nala. Her voice had never sounded sweeter.

“Nala!” he replied, “Boy, I can’t hide from anyone anymore, can I?”

“I don’t think so,” Nala joked, “That’s one downside to being that big. You won’t be able to play hide and seek anymore.”

“Yeah, it wouldn’t be fair. I could spot you in ten seconds, max.”

Nala chuckled. “But it’s worth it. I saw how you were filling in all those sinkholes. That was really cool.”

“Yeah it was. You know what’s cooler? I made the pride lands bigger!”

“No way!”

“Way!” Simba told Nala about how he moved a whole mountain. Nala was captivated.

“I wish I could be that big. It’d be so cool.”

“Take it from me, it is. But I don’t think you’ll-” Simba was interrupted by a sudden gust of wind and a shadow overhead. “No…” he said in disbelief.

Nala noticed it too. “Simba,” she asked, “is that what made you into… that?”

“Yes. Be careful with your next move, Nala.” The aliens had come back. Simba wasn’t sure why until they tried to suck him back into the flying saucer.

The aliens hadn’t accounted for one thing; Simba had grown a lot bigger than they anticipated. As hard as they tried to suck him into the ship, they just couldn’t. He just stood there, unfazed.

The ship hovered there for a moment. “Abort! Abort!” the robotic voice chimed at last. It started to fly away and Simba sprang into action.

“No you don’t!” he exclaimed. He jumped up, grabbed the flying saucer with his teeth and brought it back down to earth. “You’re not going anywhere. Not yet…”

Simba convinced the aliens to release the “ball” that turned him into a leo-saurus and zap Nala with it. Nala braced herself with anticipation. Before long, she too was the same size as Simba and had the same mixture of lion and dinosaur features. In short, she was a leo-saurus too.

“Looking good, Nala!” said Simba.

“Th-thanks,” said Nala as she got used to her new size.

“Yeah, it takes some practice.”

“Oh, I know exactly how to test it,” said Nala. She arched her back playfully and before Simba knew, she lunged at him. They tussled for a short while before Nala ended up on top of him. “Pinned ya.”

Simba stared. Then he pouted. He wished he had the idea to pin Nala while he was bigger.

“Ahem,” came a voice. Both leo-sauruses looked over. They had ended up close to Mufasa who was on his way over to see his son.

Simba smiled sheepishly. “Um, hi Dad. Those-those guys came back and um, this happened. Heheheh…”

“Simba,” Mufasa began. Simba braced himself for the worse. “I think you’re on to something here.” Simba and Nala stared in bewilderment. Mufasa explained.

Before long, a select group of lions were lining up to be turned into leo-sauruses themselves. Not every lion was going to be transformed, just those invited by the king. He and Simba oversaw the whole operation. They were very shocked when Scar was next in line.

“What are you doing here?” the king asked, “You’re supposed to be under heavy surveillance.”

“And a fine job they’re doing too,” replied Scar, “You didn’t honestly think I wouldn’t be a part of this, did you? I’m still a member of the royal family, after all.”

Mufasa stared and directed his attention to Simba. “Well, Simba, you have the most experience as a… leo-saurus? Yeah, that’s right. Does he deserve to be one?”

Simba had a pit in his stomach. At least, he whispered something to the flying saucer.

Mufasa was the last one to be turned into a leo-saurus. Being older and bigger than Simba, he and the other adults were now the same full size as pride rock. He turned his attention to the flying saucer. “This may not have been your intention,” he said gratefully, “but we thank you for all you have done. We will not let it go to waste.”

The flying saucer blinked its lights and made a strange beeping noise (a car alarm to you and me) then took off back into space.

Mufasa addressed the group of leo-sauruses with Simba by his side. “This is the beginning of a great new age,” he said, “Following my son’s example, we shall be the new trusted guardians of this land!” The leo-sauruses all roared in agreement. The noise deafened the pride land for weeks!

And so it was. The leo-sauruses were able to keep the circle of life in check much more effectively because of their size. This, coupled with the elephant graveyard now officially becoming a part of the pride lands, meant the hyenas could become a part of it too. Many didn’t feel so confident about having the hyenas around, at first. But with the leo-sauruses' presence, the hyenas put their best paw forward. Once others realized this, they did the same for them. As it turns out, the hyenas became rather helpful as a “clean-up crew” and settled nicely into their true roles in the circle of life.

Of course, it quickly became apparent that the pride lands could work just fine with three or four leo-sauruses looking over it. Many of them migrated to new lands where they were able to more effectively act as their protectors. The inhabitants of these lands were apprehensive of the giant lion-lizards, understandably. Some were even aggressive towards them. However, those that gave the leo-saurures even the slightest chance to prove themselves grew to view them as true allies.

Scar was not one of them. Simba had lost all trust for his uncle. He had whispered to the flying saucer, “Do what you want with him. Just don’t make him big.” The aliens took that to heart. They brought Scar aboard their ship to do their bidding. As they flew away from Earth that day, Scar was powering the ship. They had turned him into a mouse and he was running on a wheel. If the aliens needed something to be pulled, they’d turn him into a donkey. If they needed wool, they’ turn him into a llama. If the flying saucer needed to be cleaned, they’d turn him into an elephant. But they mainly kept him as a mouse to power their ship. Scar felt his position deeply.

And what about Simba? He went on to do great things. He personally rerouted rivers and made new water holes. He provided refuge for many animals during the great pride lands flooding. He even did Rafiki a favor by rotating his tree so he could get more sun.

He was one of the ones that chose to stay in pride lands. It had been his home his whole life and as the first of his new kind, it felt appropriate to stay where the age of the leo-saurus began.
