Jacqueline huffed in frustration, silently fuming off to her quarters. Behind her several aides and the head servant of her family following, the head servant regurgitating the same tripe she's heard hundreds of times before. "You are Lady Jacqueline M. Vixenworth! Please conduct yourself like the lady you are! As the heir of Marquess Mallory Vixenworth, as such you should do away with that...A D V E N T U R E R drivel!" Jacqueline just let out a deep frustration fueled growl as she reached her chamber door, threw it open, and slammed it shut behind herself, locking it. The servants bluster about the door with the head servant's screeching being the loudest.

As Jacqueline stomped deeper into her quarters, her frustration melted away to glee. Her "Mother" had thwarted her latest attempt at freedom, or so she thought! With no one allowed into her quarters for the next twelves hours, she had a window of a chance! She hurried about carefully, collecting what she had stashed away. Once she had everything, she pulled out a rather sizable length of rope. With a balcony over looking the private gardens, the house busy with preparations for a banquet, and no one the wiser, Jacqueline made her escape.

"I will not live in my Mother's shadow and under her thumb! My life is my own and I will not be trapped in a loveless marriage! I will be an Adventurer!" she declared under her breath as she makes it over the far fence and off the estate grounds.
