So I had this idea while talking with a friend for this concept for a cartoon/comic/story about a schoolhouse set in a forest colony of field mice!  Mrs. Hedgetuft, an older and heftier mouse, is a beloved educator and does her best to provide the most enriching educational environment for her students that she can.  That involves lots of creative projects, field trips, and other scholastic pursuits, but there's a problem; Being a forest colony of mice with limited resources, they often have to make due with that they've got.

And thus, having to make due, they get "creative" with their problem solving.  Being a cartoon, these characters are able to get squashed, stretched, inflated, and whatever else toons get into, so they often use that to their advantage, transforming each other into supplies and tools they need to accomplish their tasks!  Or, perhaps, as punishment for misbehaving in class, Mrs. Thrushwood might "volunteer" them to be used as a prop for whatever subject she's teaching.  If they're really bad, like the class clown Skivvy, they might be used as a seat cushion for Mrs. Thrushwood as opposed to sitting in the corner(Though in Skivvy's case, he might be acting out because he wants Mrs. Hedgetuft to sit on him~).

That also includes lots of accidents and mishaps that happen, as well, as seen in the second image.  Sometimes Mrs. Hedgetuft forgets how big she is, leading to little "incidents" with her students.

I hope you like these characters, I think I'd like to do some more stuff with them!  If you have any ideas for what kinda situations they might get into, or even how Mrs. Hedgetuft/these students might get transformed or flattened, I'd love to hear them in the comments!
