Yes, of course a soldier would know that you have to break the surface tension of water so you don't slap against it like it's concrete! - I'm thinking I might have to go back on a shading technique I was using before... frankly it was getting frustrating that I was routinely trying to work around it, not with it. Oh well, these things happen.

In the second frame, I thought the character crashing in was a stranger and the character shouting "Mom?!" was calling for his mother to protect him from the stranger. I wasn't aware the character crashing in is his mother.
