Looks very promising indeed. Are you going to use teh Season 1, Episode 1 canon that Luna/Nightmare Moon is a hardcore shapeshifter as well, or at any time in the future? Im sure she would get a real kick out of shapeshifting into Big Macintosh in some way.
As for watermarking, Im wondering if the only thing you cant change without changing the image, is putting watermark, stenographic data into the quantising function? As in, you want a quality image, it needs the watermark, strip teh watermark, strips the high quality quantise, and you end up with a corrupted image?
Or could someone just display at high quality, strip out, then use high compression to recalculate the quantiser? Oh well, back to the drawing board.
