Here they now are having a run in with Ssslumber, the Snake that Stocking was talking about in the initial art mentioned above.

And it sounds like that Brief tried to hitch a ride on that gold statue to get across the quicksand and catch up to Panty and Stocking, only for it to run out of magic halfway across and stranding him...
