As a child I once looked towards the idols above, and the illumination they shared Until I became far more familiar with the realistic understanding that reality has snared and found those who I once gave such respect and admiration in glory to uphold were the bearers of all life's futility, a reminder even the illuminated are dark and cold but a lesson I came to find as I buried myself beneath the soil and sand Never look kindly upon those who shine, there are horrors beneath the work they hand
It's funny actually. Truly as a child I had been inspired by an artist online to begin my work. I was overjoyed, amazed and so very happy to tell them they became my light and path into expressing myself. The only answer I would receive was to never bother them again.
