With a backwards barrel roll, Sala plunged into the sea. She left behind a few ripples before bursting from the water into the air with a loud crash that broke up the night silence. Her wet fur glistened in the full moon's light.
Went to the beach, got inspired to draw this. Boy this hasn't happened in a while. Back in 2023, my beach season lasted until October, and I was kicking around the idea of doing a Flutterbat at the beach one. But I guess the opportunity just sort of slipped by.
This is my first time drawing a really big splash like that. I bet if I was 3D printing this, it'd come out looking a bit more sensical.
Sala is so cute! I'd love to draw her happy more often!
