That's some pretty challenging detail to keep track of doing expressions. The thick/thin are cool in the front on, the movement of the right one is good too, but part of the movement is the thickness of the lines, which is where it becomes very complicated in the sense of thick/thin translating a set character design element and translating movement that works in the same spot simultaneously.
The snoot gets bigger as it gets closer! One thing I do sometimes is I draw a different element first, so I do the same character but instead of starting with the eyes, I start with the pawz or the snout. Especially when I make that first element large, it bends what I already know in a good way that can kind of look 3-dimensional. :B
You do movement with line gaps as part of the expression, I love that. It's kinda "melting" his face. Like it's turning 3-D if you were to take the same right-side drawing and draw it in 3 perspectives like a camera sweeping smoothly in an arc in front of his snout.
Now do a closeup of the SNOOT :B *oink* That's some pretty challenging detail to keep track of doin
Yeah, I'm generally happy with this one (for where I am). I am planning some other sketches/drawings this weekend. Thanks for the advice; art isn't really my forte, so I'm still learning the elements as I go :) Also, I'm very happy you followed <3 <3 <3
