This portrait depicts your Madam in her most formal garb.
My military uniform, robe, marshal's baton, and my coronet (a type of crown). Given I am but nobility, my crown is modest compared to royalty. It is however a historic artifact in its own right. It is 700 years old, and has sat upon the head of every leader of my long noble house. I am now head of the house, thus the crown is passed to me.
The uniform is more recent, approximately 200 years old, as is the baton. Both were worn and carried onto the battlefield by my ancestor, Cherri VIII, the last head of the house that bore the name.
This ensemble in its entirety, the crown and robes in particular, are rarely worn. Only on the most formal, and most significant of occasions are they worn. The rest of the time, they are safely displayed in the private dynasty archive (similar to a museum, but only accessible to members of our noble House).
Please, enjoy the sight of my splendour. For many of you, this fine portrait will be the best you will ever see.
