I've seen these "your character here" things from time to time and I figured it might be a way to dip a toe into the commission water without some of the downsides that usually keeps me away from doing those >.>
this might fail spectacularly, but it might be fun, let's find out <.<
I've not done one of these before so apologies if I forget some critical detail but here's what I've got. Everything below is subject to change while I learn about the ups and downs of doing this.
Rules/Process: - Price: $50 gets a character of your choice edited into the picture, replacing the positions of the gray NPC above (in both panels). - If you've donated to me already during the period from 2025-04-01 through 2025-06-30, you'll get 50 cents off every dollar donated during that period, up to a maximum total discount of $25 across all slots I give you. Be sure to let me know if you've been a donator during that period and what name/email you used so I can look it up. For non-USD donations, the conversion rate for the discount will be determined at the time when I ask for payment. I'll probably need to adjust how this gets handled in the future if I do another YCH any time soon. - Don't send payment until I've told you to (no pre-buying slots). - The character can be your OC, a character from something, or someone else's OC as long as you have their permission (I may contact them to verify). - Will be colored and shaded the way the rest of the picture is. - Payment will be via ko-fi. - To keep things rolling, I won't stop to send a WIP unless I really need to. If you want, I can post the sketch version as well when finished. - Small adjustments to the finished picture within reason may be accepted, at my discretion. - DM me (here, on twitter, or on pixiv) to send a reference of the character to draw and discuss any other details. - SFW only. - Results will be posted publicly, but you can remain anonymous if you want (unless you're using someone else's OC). - You can post the image too, if you want to, preferably with a link back to this page, or to my account on here, twitter, or pixiv. - Slots will reopen after completion until I'm tired of doing this. - One slot at a time per person. - Will be done in whatever order ends up working best for my schedule. - I don't plan to stream these, since I don't want to add any extra delays and need to remain creatively flexible in my streams. - If I reject your idea, it's probably because I don't think I'd be able to do a very good job of drawing that character. Or maybe because the character is an ugly dummyhead and I don't like it. You'll never know! >W>
