Patch is a former member of the Covenant of Despair. He wanted revenge on humanity for having used him as a lab animal (which is the reason for his colorful appearance). He fights using nunchucks, and takes glee in inflicting pain on his enemies.
He was originally just a sprite-recolor experiment, and when I needed to populate the Covenant of Despair with agents, he seemed a good fit. While his appearance is supposed to resemble a patchwork stuffed animal, his personality was meant to be loosely based on the Joker...maybe a bit more like the campy Joker of the olden days than the ones we've seen more recently ^^'
My pictures included for comparison/reference, as usual. Not used in image generation.
