This is Johnny Blaze, human host of the Ghost Rider; one of my worst enemies is Deathwatch. A former angel that underwent numerous surgeries and mechanical changes to enhance his combatant skills, he serves as Zadkiel’s favorite assassin and has come into conflict with myself on numerous occasions. With a specialized sonic blade that can shatter steel and a knowledge of numerous fighting techniques, he is an adversary worthy of the Rider’s flames.

In the comics, Deathwatch serves as the arch nemesis of the second Ghost Rider Danny Ketch and has been a favorite villain of mine. I tried to give this character a more modernized appearance and based his design on a Ruby swallowtail butterfly and backstory on a combination of his own from the comics, Weapon XI from X-Men Origins and Karl Kroenan from Hellboy.
