Yes I'm using Sims 4 backgrounds for consistency, also because drawing all the backgrounds is a bit of a pain.

Ahh yeah!! It begins!

And what a house! I would occupy the pool most of the morning, and definitely the kitchen to cook some nice curries!

Would you share your curry with everyone? :3

Naturally! And it tastes better the next day, so I'd make a double-large batch. :3

If people in the house like curry, you'd be instantly popular!

So it begins...

Apparently no windows in the front of the house.

The producer doesn't want the neighbors to pry inside (?)

Yeah basically. More importantly it's to make sure no one outside can influence the players inside's decisions.

Yeah they are completely separated from the outside world. That's the concept of Big Brother. Apparently people would still fly banners over the backyard in the early seasons to tell the contestants who they could or could not trust, which y'know is cheating and unfair to the players inside the house if they are unliked by the audience. Total separation ensures outsiders cannot manipulate the players' decisions.

In the actual show it's not even a real house, the entire thing is a studio lot with the interior designed as a house. Outside the house is literally a stage where they conduct exit interviews in front of a live studio audience. So yeah I hope that clears it up.

I knew reality tv shows usually were 'influenced'/'structured' so there could be a story that develops even though there is no script. I didn't realize they used a studio set.

A studio set allows them to put cameras and microphones everywhere, and hook it up to a nearby control room I guess, compared to a house in the suburbs. Also they get to more or less reuse the same studio set every year and just change the house design and furniture without having to move most of the camera's.
